I am not trying to belittle Microsoft because I think the dance stuff, the exercise stuff and the other stuff is fantastic however. Watching Metal Gear Rising was great and I was curious about a few things. Obviously they can only do so much stuff with motion capture. When you watch movies, motion capture is done through multiple devices in a suit/clothing that people actually wear for sports games.

I am just slightly disappointed that it's full motion capture. Maybe it can see you holding a sword and then go from that input but in a lot of the stuff you could easily see the capture lag transition to the screen. Not that I care too much I think the show was alright.

Just makes me excited that Playstation Move at least requires that you hold the remote which it tracks etc and it will be more precise. We will see how that goes tomorrow as well as what capture lag that has though it should be minimal since a second device is capturing motion for certain activities. The only thing Xbox is big about which is its highest selling point is the community in which it has developed and all connections through companies/retailers/etc that focuses on that.

I am jealous all those guys attending got a 360 Elite Slim for free D: But I am really glad it's still at the $300.00 price point for people that will be buying it eventually later this week.

It probably won't be until Xbox 720/Playstation 4 that they will combine some kind of suit possible for even better motion capture as well as maybe a standard gun, sword, and what not. Can't wait until tomorrow, well today now that's it is past midnight.

The biggest disappointment is not the device itself but the lack of new uses for it. Like it was said on G4, everything shown by microsoft has already been done by nintendo on Wii couple years ago. In my opinion it was a terrible idea for them to take this approach. The advertising it more as an Wii substitute then a new innovation.
