Of course the price tag of a 360/PS3 versus a Wii isn't a factor at all in why the Wii appeals to everybody.

Its that goddamn controller. Fuck you Xbox 360 controller, why do you have to be so imperfect and not at all easy to use.

Also, both these companies fail to realize that the price of the system + either motion controller is going to be over $400; double price of the Wii.

They also plan to now be competitive in the motion controller market. This amuses me.

Also, betting $20 bucks the star wars game is lightsaber dueling.

I'd love a new MGO so long as they removed the crazy invincibility frames and the whole "you can only get rewards at xx time period" system. Team sneak was tons of fun and there hasn't really been anything else like it in a shooter game, and most of the other modes were fairly unique as well.

Yep, the only shitty thing was a bad teammate could royally screw you if they got spotted. I always have a sense of dread whenever I hear the "!" noise now, because I can't count how many times I managed to ninja across the map, only to have have my stealth go down. SDE was pretty good too, but some of the spawn points were terrible which really killed it.

this game lineup is pathetic. I swear now it seems like every game developer, no matter what system, thinks on the exact same page when they are creating for a motion controller. Make dinky stupid play around shovelware games.

Hopefully some real games will be announced tomorrow, id like to see these guys make shit different than Nintendo so i didn't waste a year being hopeful for nothing.

Little add-on to the Kinect thing:

The other major detail to come out of the advertisement is a potential reveal for an Xbox 360 Slim, which will come with a 250 GB hard drive, built-in WiFi and will presumably be bundled with Kinect. Again, all details will be brought to you directly throughout the week, especially when we get confirmation from the Microsoft press conference, starting tomorrow at 1:30 pm EST (10:30 am PDT).
