New Donkey Kong Country and Kirby got me pretty psyched from Nintendo's conference, but they lacked any big jaw droppers that usually make E3 entertaining, as did Microsoft.

Sony by far did the best job of keeping it entertaining (Kevin Butler wut) and throwing out real surprises (Gabe, Twisted Metal) to get people psyched. Making their new tech actually look good outside of that Tiger Woods demo was a big plus too.

The Kirby game gave me a weird vibe, didn't really seem like Kirby. More like 'Hey, we need a Kirby game.. what stupid shit can we do to get his face on something.' Didn't do it for me.

Other than that I agree. Portal 2 on Ps2/New TM were easily the two biggest bombshells of the conference.

Bleh the shop I usually buy from here in the Netherlands already sold out on the collector's edition long before anybody knew wtf was in it. Can't seem to find a site that has this edition already up on their site, not even ones that won't ship to the Netherlands (gamestop and shit) XD

I wasn't gonna buy GT5 until it hit platinum status simply because I got fucking tired of the delays that I didn't want to pay full price for it anymore, but I want that book (messing with setups was all I did in GT3), the rest of the package is just a nice bonus.

I just want to know who the 5488 people are who thought that MS had the best presser, they should be shot for being completely retarded. Anyone with even a fraction of a brain can tell the MS one was just terrible. I'm really surprised that Sony wasn't higher, they had a really good presser this year.

Granted, given the results of the Character Battle polls that they have every year, I'm not surprised at the least that Nintendo is winning by a landslide.
