I was at the Natal reveal event tonight and it was pretty amazing. The Star Wars game was obviously incomplete, but man... it was impressive as hell. It was closer to Force Unleashed style Jedi action. Lots of crazy force powers and lightsaber combat.

Did they say a price?

No price info. There wasn't even any real branding or talk/display of who developed the games that were being shown off. Even the Kinect cameras we were using weren't branded. The consoles detected them as "Natal Device".

Everything is supposed to be saved for the press conference tomorrow.

Ugh Cammie Dunaway is fucking terrible. I think last year for Nintendo was the worst press conference was the worst of the 3 I have ever seen. As far as developers go. Ubisoft was probably the worst last year with James Cameron going on for Avatar for what seemingly was 3 hours. Let's see who has the worst this year!

On a side note, can anyone provide potential links to the MS conference? I have no access to this site from work, but can access it from my phone and grab the links to plug into the work PC. Thanks!

I have to admit that I'm enjoying the complete panning of Kinect so far (including the ridiculous MS event). I'm hoping Move gets similar treatment. Maybe one of these companies will show something that's actually really promising for motion controls in the coming days (SOCOM?). Otherwise, I'm perfectly content to sticking with controllers, keyboards, and mice.

I believe I had seen a tech demo for the move that was being used on Socom.

I don't get how the same people who want a 1:1 lightsaber game on wii are complaining about how there is no way to stop the swing or register that it is hitting something/being blocked in kinect, so therefore it's lightsaber game won't work. How is that any different from how it would work on the wii? well I mean obviously it could just be a fanboy thing, but that's retarded
