Thanks so much for confirming that. The game isn't released till next year so they're still working on it. I wouldn't be surprised if the background art style changed as well.

No problem, I made a point to check it out, I was really looking forward to seeing the game and playing it, but the problem at the conference was sad to see.

Not sure if you posted impressions of it yet Kyo (thread has gotten way too large now), but what did you think of Killzone 3 in 3-D?

Also, is Kevin Butler as manly in person as he is in the commercials?

Im hitting the sony booth tomorrow, I wasted 2 hours of game time in that Konami conference. I did get to see it in action on the screen in the Sony conference as well as Crysis and what little I saw was fucking awesome. Didnt look like a gimic, bullets flying at your face and those crazy aliens coming at you in 3D looked really impressive.

Oh to add, Mortal Kombat montage in 3D looked sweet too.

so apparently you can replace the PS Move Navigation Controller (nunchuck) with a regular PS3 sixaxis controller, and they'll have the same functionality. I guess that's a pretty decent way to save money although it's still 100 for a camera/remote and then 50 for a 2nd remote for 1 person lol.

Like 1-2yr ago you could get the eye extremely cheap($20) with the eye of judgement game(game wasnt selling good, so many stores like Sears drop the combo for $20 sometimes less)

yeah, they're hard to find now though because the cards are semi-collectible. I guess you could probably track down a used PS Eye though

Also there's apparently an Official charger too, which is 30 bucks... so 100 + 50 + 30, which is what it was going to be if you bought the nunchuck lol

PS Eye has double the capture speed of the EyeToy (60fps @ 640x480, 120fps @ 320x240, EyeToy is half that) and sees a much clearer picture which is important for tracking the ball.

I'm pretty sure it does, but this is a shiny looking cradle type thing. They have 2 apparently, one that charges 1 remote and 1 nunchuck, and one that charges 2 remotes and 2 nunchucks.

Otomedius Excellent: The slightly odd all-girls spin-off of the Gradius and Parodius series is coming to the U.S., which is somewhat surprising given the fact that the game seems so carefully tailored to Japanese tastes.
Bonus American morality dissonance moment: A couple of Otomedius characters' cleavage was awkwardly censored with obvious overlays, but the preceding Saw II trailer was cleared to show a woman ripped in half by a falling elevator.
