Rumors
http://www.ps3news.com/PlayStation-P...d-two-cameras/VG247.com has reported that Sony's upcoming PSP2 will feature a touch-screen and two cameras.
As part of their E3 2010 reveal, the following details have currently surfaced on the PlayStation Portable 2, to quote:
• Multiple British sources have confirmed that PSP2 NDAs have been in place at publishers and developers for many months.
• PSP2 has two cameras, one forward and one backward facing.
• It has a touch-screen, but apparently it has retained the trademark physical PlayStation buttons.
• UK sources were previously working towards a “2010″ release. This is now “2011″.
• One source would be “amazed” if there was any kind of physical media involved. We’ve been told it “could” be 3G-enabled, as opposed to the WiFi-only PSP go. This bit was sketchy.
• Multiple PSP2 games are being made in Britain right now. Some have even already been canned.
• There have been “finished units” in the UK, but we haven’t spoken to anyone that’s seen a final case.
• When asked directly about reveal timing, one source said, “If the games were aiming for end 2010, beginning 2011, and now it’s a 2011 release, I’d say a gamescom or TGS announce for launch early next year”.
• One source told us the machine is based on a four-core Cell CPU. PS3 runs on an eight-core version.

http://www.neverknowtech.com/home/20...how-at-e3.htmlOn the most recent CheapAssGamer podcast, CheapyD stated that he knew that Sony would be unveiling a revamped XMB (XrossMediaBar, aka, PS3's Dashboard) at E3.
Scarce (as in, nonexistant) are any details about new features that could come along with a revamped dashboard. We've reached out to Sony for comment, and we'll let you know when we get a response. Without an official announcement and only one (albeit reliable) source, we're treating this as rumor for now.
CheapyD: “I’ve heard that the Sony PS3 is getting a completely redesigned XrossMediaBar. Like totally new, not just like new columns and stuff like, totally redone.

wireless goodness uncovered a new FCC filing by Mitsumi which shows a possible Nintendo DS testing platform.
Whether this is a testing station for the existing NDS hardware or if it's for the new 3DS is anyone's guess. Either way, this doesn't really give us any new information on either platform. As you can see, the board above has all of the components of a Nintendo DS, including two screens, controller, and camera. However, these components are installed on a spacious mother board, presumably to facilitate testing.
Nintendo is expected to unveil the 3DS at E3 in June.

Wait...Does that list really say Mass Effect 3 (and the trilogy) on PS3? lol what?
I hope they do. ME was one of those series I was always vaguely aware of before I entered the current generation of consoles, and I thought it was multiplatform. was disappointed when I realized I couldn't play it on my PS3. not the end of the world, just a little disappointed.
It'll happen at some point, to the first of this month its only sold 1.6 million units, being on xbox and pc only, thats pretty low for an xbox console exclusive. GOW 3 has doubled its sales in half the time. Heavy Rain is pretty close to passing it as well.
Bioware has sold about 4 million copies of Dragon Age, making it multiplatform was very successful and I look for them to put ME 2 on PS3 and ME 3 as well.
good, I hope it happens soon. but not too soon, I have to finish a boatload of PS3 games first.
If Kevin Butler doesn't give the Sony keynote, it will be a failure.
Actually, doesn't have to give the keynote, but he needs a lengthy presentation during the keynote. If so, Sony wins by default.

It's been a couple months since Nintendo rush-released a statement on its up and coming 3D handheld, and the company's been predictably mum on most of the details. To be honest, we're not even sure what the official name for the thing will be -- although Nintendo 3DS has been the working title (and the one that makes the most sense, if you ask us). Now the kids at Siliconera are reporting a flurry of activity in Japan's trademark database, with Nintendo registering such names as: Nintendo 3DS, N3DS, 3DSPlay (a 3D WiiPlay variant?) and 3DSWare (similar to DSiWare, perhaps). All in all, it seems safe to assume that the device we see at E3 will be dubbed the 3DS, but who knows? This certainly wouldn't be the first time that a trademark has thrown us for a loop.

Added new info on PSN+ from Joystiq.
Update with info on Project Natal pricing and a little rumor I thought deserved its own thread. Enjoy.![]()
I really hope the PSP2 has physical media ;/
I wouldn't mind PSP2 being digital only for game purchases if it actually reflected the cost of delivering it in such a manner, unlike PSPgo where Sony was afraid of pissing off retail outlets if they tried to underprice it on PSN. Granted though, I'd want a UMD port for backwards compatibility reasons.
considering how miserably the PSP Go failed (which sony pretty much has to have realized) I bet it will
Spoiler: show
Also, would like to see trophies for PSP games and of course BCC.
