Trailers for games people already knew about at the start, then about an hour(?) of Wii on your XBOX with jaggies and input delay. Slim 360 coming out this week, and free 360s for people in the press who had to sit thru that shit.

And yes, I think the Kinect Adventure portion definitely beat out Wii Music, solely based on the screaming from the women while they played.

And yeah outside of Halo Reach & Metal Gear Solid: Rising, wasn't as impressed as I would have liked. Most of the focus was on "Project Natal" which has now been renamed "Kinect".

Btw, for the people wondering if they missed anything from the MS presser.

Call of Dudy Black Ops, Gears 2 with new enemies, Halo 3 with different miltipayer, small segent on fable 3, MGS Rising(best part).

MGS was the second trailer, and that reall was the best part. Gears, Halo, Fable, and I think two other little trailers were all worthless. CoD was decent. MGS was awesome.

That took up about 20 minutes. For the next hour (yes hour), was all Kinect (Natal) bs. To sum it up, they basically took everything the Wii has, and ported it to 360, all with horrible lag and sensing. It was really pathetic.

During the last 10 minutes they summed it up, and for the last 3 minutes the reveled the new slim model, the price, and the ship date (today), and then gave everyone in the audience a free one.

It was a very very painful presser to watch.

While the Kinetic stuff really is pretty horrible looking, I think it's a good step to where we want to go in the future. Getting away from Wii and PS Move, and in to real motion sensing, it just has a ways to go.
