I'm happy with kinect what it can do and the possibilities with it. I am not happy about the software they showed as a opener that load of crap shoulda been box art and not showcased. Shit blows waving a fucking plastic stick around out of the water. Very excited to see what fighting games come out of this.

That Dance Central game had to be staged. Meaning the game was doing a preset dance and the guy just doing it along with him. Because if not, the 1:1 kinect is taunting is very very far off.

The main dancer in the middle of the screen isn't supposed to represent the player, it's there so you can follow along.

As a long time Nintendo fan, seeing 360/PS3 owners getting shitty conferences doesn't bother me considering how much shit I've gotten in the past two years as I pray that Nintendo might finally be the top presenter.

i don't think we'll see a good conference from Nintendo until they release their next home console, I'm not that excited for the 3DS

I've heard that mentioned. I wonder if the new model comes with the wired connection option. I would assume that it would. But I could see it effecting the quality. I know when I had the 1st gen wifi adapter it was hideous, but that's been awhile back.

When they unboxed it on GT, I saw an ethernet port.

So Kinetics picks up a slight movement that it's told to recognize so it can issue to the game to finish the rest of the move, so the player can mimic what the game is showing? o_o doesn't sound like much of a game to me..

Just saw the Raiden trailer and that looks pretty badass. They took it up a notch w/being able to determine how you kill ppl.. Raiden looks crazy OP

You're scored based on how well you do the actions... think of the main dancer in the middle of the screen like the inputs appearing in Rock Band/Guitar Hero. The little images at the side of the screen give nowhere near enough information to be able to just use those and show you on the screen. There's not really any other way they could do it.

Last game I played like that was on the original NES with the power-pad.
