my problem with the holodeck was they never showed it being used for what I'm sure I'd use it for 100% of the time: fucking hot holograms

I wanna know how long it'll take before the slims start rodding.
I do not approve of the direction in which this industry is heading. The best I can do is talk with my wallet and not buy a Kinect, Move or a Nintendo Fingerbanger, but at the same time I am aware of the millions of casual players who will buy into it.
But that is fine. They can have their Microsoft Presents: Wii Sports.
What gets me is all of this social networking connectivity. It is bad enough some people need a graphical representation of themselves on a TV screen in order to consider exercise, but now personal health has been reduced to a CALORIES BURNED SCORE one can post on Facebook.
Isn't personal health and fitness supposed to be intrinsically good? Will we one day see a "game" where Kinect scans your food and scores you on how well you eat?
JACK SPARROW ate a CARROT today at 3:32PM. VITAMIN A +20
JACK SPARROW needs 1 more VEGETABLE to meet his recommended daily supply.
But that would sell millions, wouldn't it?
Can I fit my penis in the Wii vitality sensor?
I have been asking myself this question more times than I'd care to admit over the past few months

that fucking thing is lagging behind his movements sooo bad. wow.
Watching Lie to Me, but keeping an eye on the youtube stream, keep me up on any funny audio~
A couple things. I pretty much thought the bulk of the presser was going to be based around the Kinect. If you have half a brain, you would know this. I really don't give a shit about it, but I'm sure we can expect a lot of Sony's conference tomorrow to be based on the Move. Will it be better? Maybe. But again, it looks mighty casual. And I hate it. The whole fucking market will be casual soon.
I'm not going to jump on the MS bashing bandwagon, nor am I a blatent fanboy as I love both systems equally. Some shit just needs to be said though. Do you guys remember Nintendo's show last year? 20 mins of charts and graphs, the ridiculous Wii Music + Wii Sports + and whatever other nonsense they had. I think the ONLY decent thing they had was the Metroid game.
I think Kyo said it in another thread Calling Gears 3 Gears 2 with different eneimies and Halo Reach Halo 3 with different multi player. Along with some other anti MS stuff. I really hope you were joking. You can say the same shit for Killzone, if they announce Uncharted 3 (I loved part 2, dont get me wrong but what else can they do aside from a different story) etc. You can call almost every Final Fantasy the previous game with different characters. You can call Red Dead Redemption GTAIV 100 years ago. It's the same thing.
It all depends what you are looking for. Most of the games today for MS's show were already announced. I still thought the games portion was just fine, and almost every game the showed off (minus Kinect stuff) I will be looking forward to very much.
As they cut to some random guy and then black screen.
