I'm driving the Lexus IS250C, which is essentially the hard-top convertible version of the Lexus you were looking at, with a smaller engine. I highly recommend the IS series.

God that must be a rare car because I cant find hardly any of them used.

Not a chance!

I can tell you however that the IS series seems to be really solid. Decent mileage, quiet, super comfortable (even without the luxury features, if you're looking to keep the price reasonable), and fun to drive.

Exactly, considering that is the only car I have (Other 2 are SUVs) I have enjoyed having my IS much more than any car I have ever owned. Conformity I wouldnt worry about maintenance, Lexus usually has a fantastic maintenance plan for all cars. I mean you get a oil change? BAM! New rental. Ive gotten free tires, free bulb changes, free interior maintenance, you name it. They will even come drop you a car off and tow yours for free if something happens to it, lucky I havent have to use that feature yet.

If you get the plan with it then youre as good as gold and maintenance wont be much of an issue at all.

Jesus I have heard about their grade a service but fml that sounds great. I wont be buying for another 2 weeks but gah i cannot wait
