Honestly Sigma 2 wasn't that bad, I'd have beaten NM mode but it felt more like a chore. Beating the game 4x was more than enough for me ;x

Was White Knight Chronicles a good buy? I don't think I saw that mentioned here yet.

As others have said, the story mode was terribad (played out like a bad anime) and there's a buttload of grinding involved. But I did kind of enjoy the combat system and liked the free online dungeon crawler concept. Definitely worth getting if you can nab it cheap.

The original 360 version was MUCH MUCH harder (more tedious though so I think they did a good thing in toning it down). I found #1 harder than #2 as well although both are very hard!

Well that is a little more helpful. I do side with you that it is somewhat linear(well very) but it opens up and can be worth it. The story can hook you somewhat, somewhere on this board brought up that its flash back style was derived from lost, so if you like the way things pan out like that it be worth it as well.

Do not really want to get into a full review, but if you can grab it for cheap(and you can now somewhat) its worth picking up.

I loved FFXIII but can fully admit that it was an experiment in storytelling and game design, and has a few controversial aspects that could be very offputting to the wrong crowd. I don't see why it's so hard for the haters to admit that it's possible for people to like it.

When someone dislikes something, they have to force it onto you. No clue why, but I see it in myself as well, when I hate something I fight more for it sometimes. Try and catch myself when I do that.

one liners that dont say anything, and you know they just want to provoke you. Its one thing to say "lulz ya" At least you are saying "that person was right" but to just say "it sucks" without any backing...
