We're not allowed to say what we do for Blizzard publicly, limited to just saying that we work for them. I work in the Austin office, and don't know many people from Irvine personally. I added you today at work.

Double checked on this today at work, current outlook is not so sure, have to see when Beta invites are generated. I'd recommend still signing up on your own as well.

I know you run your own forums Gulk, but this goes for everyone I'm extending these invites too, DO NOT BREAK THE NDA, here or elsewhere. Keep what you see and experience in the Alpha to yourselves, or at the least outside of cyberspace. This means in game as well, this is a really big deal. Discussion of the Alpha will not be tolerated on these boards. Once open Beta begins, y'all can go nuts.

He has to add your Battle.net account to the Friends and Family Alpha listing while at work. It's internal blizznet stuff only, can't do it from home. Your battle.net account management page will show up with the Cataclysm Alpha under your Managed games in 3-4 days after he adds your account to the list, you can download the client, and copy characters from there.

I heard they're added in waves, so even after he adds you in, there's a wait period until they add that "wave". JS YO

then an email gets sent + its in bnet management with other games. (ptr char copy is under the cata beta on the right side)

also this account lasts for the entire beta duration, but not subsequent betas(other expansions)/other games. (f&f will actually say beta client etc, so don't be alarmed)
