Thanks so much Tonko, I love you a lot, I'm having a blast I've even set up to meet with Affix to work on some mage things.
I really really love you.

*Highfives Tonko!*
It's really awesome that you're doing these invites, everyone seems so happy and excited.Hope you have enough to go around to all these hopeful people (including myself
)
I sent you a PM last night, but I just wanted to pop into the forum and just say how cool it was of you to do this.

Hey
Sent you a PM earlier Tonko, thank you so much if you help me get into the Beta.
I'm dying to check out the changes to the hunter class myself!
:D
Same. Thanks for this potential opportunity Tonko! Your willingness to do this is really cool!![]()
Got my invite today, Tonko. Thank you very much. Definitely just made my week!
Ok so now that NDA is lifted and Beta started, is there any way for us to invite our own friends into beta? I have one or 2 that are pretty interested, including one that Beta'd WOTLK (not sure if I want to give him an invite since he was one of the server first 80's and got dranei and priest in wotlk lol).
Assuming it would be easiest to just give tonko their battle.net's but since they don't post here it feels wrong.
That would be interesting to see. I know they did beta for friends invites during Starcraft 2, but I don't believe they did it for WotLK. Maybe they're changing that with the way battle.net works now and they'll phase that in later. I can see that coming in handy with getting guilds in to test their raids, once they're ready for that.
As for me, I'm still looking forward to some Tonko magic. =D
A friend of mine was very glad to have gotten 2 Beta keys. Wait, Beta keys?? I thought there were no beta keys handed out but instead you get the game activated on your battlenet account and you download from there.
However since I'm not 100% sure if he's just been compromised I figured I'd confirm here that getting beta keys == potentional phishing. He also mentioned getting it from a WoWAccountAdmin#blizzard, com email.
Blizz has already stated a few times that they don't send out Beta keys anymore. They send out a simple notification and flag your Battle.net account for the beta. So if you have access to the beta, you should simply be able to access your Battle.net account and see it listed there among your games.
Receiving a Cata beta key through email is a guaranteed phish. No touchy!
Turns out he already knew this and was just trying to be funny.
think I get about 1 phishing "GRATS WOW BETA KEY" per 30min in my e-mail junk folder ;/
Just showed up on my B net page. Tonko you rock!
Same. Thank youuu. ^_^
Tonko, it's extremely cool of you do be doing this for people.
Hope to hear from you soon Tonko. This is really quite nice of you.
