I honestly don't have any desire to be on a PvP realm normally (I've done it in the past, gets old), and during an alpha when I want to experience new content why would I want to PvP?

If anyone wants to join me hit me up, I've edited the first post with what names I have so far.

There are two reasons on why an addon should not work:

- Blizzard changed or removed an existing API
- The addon's toc is severely out-of-date

The second reason is a given as all addons should have a toc interface number of 30300 or earlier considering cataclysm is still in alpha. I can't remember if addons with pre-expansion toc numbers are disabled, but if they are you can enable them rather easily. Simply copy the addon into your Cataclysm addon folder as normal, go into the addon folder and find the *.toc file for the addon. Then, open it in a text editor and find this line:

## Interface: 30300

Change it to:

## Interface: 40000

And the addon should load, unless Blizzard has disabled addons by default for the alpha testing.

Edit: It appears addons are indeed disabled currently. Damnit. I'm going to leave this up anyway for whenever they're re-enabled.

I use the default UI for the most part as well (barring DBM/oUF for raid units/etc), but I have a ton of random scripts for various things.

I was getting that same error when maintenance was occurring a few days ago with the live realms. It fixed itself when it ended though, so I'm not sure what is causing it to happen now for you guys.

edit: I'm on the PvE realm as "Exertim"/Alliance. FML I knew I shouldn't have race changed just because my arena mates wanted Human racials.
