2 of my good friends love their new "direction" and state it is their evolution.

I cannot believe this. I used to loathe LP a few years ago. Now I can listen to them again (Hybrid Theory and Meteora) but most of the other stuff can go away. They evolved into a worse band than they were? Everyone's entitled to their own opinion of course, but when the vast majority agrees, you just have to think twice.

One of my friends likes them so much he got a LP tattoo. A TATTOO. Well okay. He also claimed that these people who hate on them have no taste in music. This coming from someone who maybe owns 70 CD's and maybe as many mp3s. He also used to love Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, and just about any other boy band you could think of when they first started coming out. I wish I was joking.
