    craft 150?

    Been a while but whatever happened to this thats was post last time we got a update or it always was on datas like rank 15?

    I do hope they fix crafting, think it would fix alot of things if they use old armor in the new recipes for 76-99 lvl.

    No indication it'll ever be used, either, although it would make sense.

    They made crafting, then over the years they made so many rare/ex gears that crafting became less favorable.

    Recently their love of Synergy has shown that they like people making unique items (even if most Synergy isn't that great and is confusing) and they love people using the crafting system.

    So maybe part of the 75-99 evolution will be a crafting cap raise (sorry guys) that will allow us to make money again on new gear to compliment the Walk of Echoes/Abyssea drops.

    Was thinking something like:

    black seers, lvl 80 body, clothcraft lvl 110
    recipe: seers bodyx1, gold threadx1, darksteel ingot x1

    think would fix crafting and farming @ least for a bit

    am Both hoping for and dreading this.

    on the 1 hand i LOVE crafting 1 of the major reasons i still play and another 50 levels would give me something new to work towards and prolly have a better profit margin at the end of the path.

    on the other hand the cost it will likely be to get my crafts to 150 makes me cringe.

    but on the whole am looking forward to it if they raise the cap. Which I think is very likely simple because the gear for the new 24 lvls has to come from some where and making them all 90-100ish synths just seems counter to what there trying to do with level cap raise to me but this is SE where talking about everything they used to do always seemed a little counter productive(nerfing jobs instead of boosting ones that where useless.How I i miss my rng of old ; ; . )

    I really hope not... but it's very likely. After level 99's announcement, I can see SE raising caps on everything else really. Also, they've been gradually using whatever's in the dats. Like higher tier spells - ballad III, utsu san, tier V nukes etc have been in the dats for years and will now be added for the 76-99 stretch probably...

    As stated before, these craft levels have been in the game for the longest time and have yet to/probably never will be implemented. The nation ranks also go up to rank 15 as well, but these are just remnants of what SE may have originally planned but then decided to scrap. While SE will add new recipes thru regular crafts, they will be shifting the priority of their focus towards synergy and making items crafted solely through synergy without the aid of having certain subcrafts (needing synergy, woodworking, goldsmithing, smithing, etc).

    Also if you want to bring up spells, might as well bring up relevant info:

    Stone V - 235 MP - 8.75s Cast Time
    Water V - 247 MP - 9.25s Cast Time
    Aero V - 260 MP - 9.5s Cast Time
    Fire V - 272 MP - 9.75s Cast Time
    Blizzard V - 285 MP - 10s Cast Time
    Thunder V - 298 MP - 10.25s Cast Time

    During the last SE event when they mentioned the level cap increase, I had thought they said 100 craft cap would be raised as well?

    Guess it was just wishful thinking on my part (Or foggy brain from staying up late to watch the JPN stream)

    Fanfest 08(or was it 07) someone asked about the nation lines going up to 15 in the dats and SE said they would consider adding them if people wanted them. SE is always putting shit in the dats before they start using them. Christ, look at the sky warp portals that were useless for years until they linked them with the promy stuff or long tier 2 enspells were in the dats, etc etc

    am I the only crafter who just has no desire for synergy? I know I'm severely hurting my chances at future profit....it just holds so little interest to me.

    In that regard, an increase in the crafting level cap could be interesting.....sell your cursed mitts -1, cursed hauberk -1, dusk gloves +1, etc. before they all become T1, then T2 ^^

    Before they bother raising the level cap SE better spend the 10 mins itd take to remove that godawful 40 point past 60 cap.

    IF my character has the time in game, there is no reason at all he should forget woodworking synths because he decided to take smithing past 60 >_>;

    Inb4 rush to be the first person with all crafts at 100

    For a while I couldn't get myself excited to level crafting and now the profits are gone. I figured I'd beat the rush and get it leveled early.

    Fuck keeping shit T0, T1, etc because of subs. I want to level multiple crafts on 1 character to 100. If they want something to be in a certain teir, make that shit a higher level of the main craft.
