Oh, awesome. I can't wait for this to be localised. I loved PSP1, probably the game that's had the most playtime on my PSP :D I also loved PSO, liked PSU to begin with but then it got stupid, and have been wanting online PSP for ages, so I hope it's good!

Played it a bit earlier, pretty fun so far. My dude's name is Jim and he looks like a super saiyan. Upgraded all my weapons before my battery ran low. And has anyone noticed people don't like picking up loot? I feel like a loot whore because no one's grabbing anything. I wait plenty for them to pick it up, but they just run off to the next fight.

I've downloaded the demo, but I haven't tried to transfer/run it yet.
I'm still using the last Dark Alex firmware, and MHFU is the most recent game I can run.
I've been sniffing around qj.net to see if something like prometheus will solve my woes, but considering sony is at 6.31, probably screwed.

I'm sure it won't be a problem with the actual game is released but I always have trouble running current demos on CFW so I've stopped even trying because I have to keep changing my firmware versions back and forth and it just isn't worth that for some demos.

True. Digital demos are instant, but physical discs have to be manufactured and shipped, so the firmware is nearly always a few points behind.

m33 and GEN both run pretty much every game still coming out, they just require patching rather than working immediately. It's generally very easy to find patched ISOs on the day of release still though. I'm still on 5.00 m33-3 and afaik there's absolutely nothing I can't run. If there is it's some shovelware game that nobody bothered to patch because nobody even wants to play it.

GEN doesn't need patches if you're on the latest firmware version unless it is something with a new sort of copy protection like NDX had

I love this demo.

The game feels a lot different than the previous game. Ability to upgrade weapons with Meseta, shields, PP works better, better online experience, and so on. Too bad I wont be able to get it until October, because of Birth by Sleep and FF14 next month.

wow liking the music in the creation vids, feels like PSO all over again.
I've only been using my PSP for emulators so I'm gonna have to get used to that dam stick finally.
Any chance they'll keep the jp voices in? I have a feeling the NA voices will be horrible.
