Banned.
I WANT IT WHERE IS IT GIMME NOW
-
It's been released on Nexus One today :<
Now someone need to make a custom ROM for my Desire.
-
They really need to make a powerhouse phone on AT&T that isn't a backflip or $500. I'm sick of my iPhone 3G.
-
Apparently the update is only for N1s that have been used by the media. Gotta hope one of them makes a dump for an update now. ;/
Edit: XDA forums going insane. They're trying to get some moron on Twitter to make a dump of the update file, but I think he fucked it up. Will post if I find a legit update for Froyo.
-
Yeah I'm F5ing XDA too... shit's funny
-
Hmm is this it? 44.4 megs

FRF50 pre-rooted complete update zip for use with custom recoveries is uploading now... pardon my slow DSL upload!
-
Oh thank god, I forgot how crappy the stock recovery image was. Guess I'll go back to custom and wait for it. I like having my Nandroid backups, USB mode etc.
Edit: Phone benched at 6MFlops on Eclair.
-
ETA for update zip 20 minutes... kitchen, Desire port etc. to follow next week

I feel like a kid on christmas' eve... I really can't wait for the Desire port
-
Haha yeah. Playing around with this thing now. Feels so much more... snappier. XD
Really want a Sense UI version of this since I prefer it over stock. Gonna be waiting for a while on that though. Stuff like colorized menus in Settings helped to get around the phone better. Though I think thats just me.
Edit: Ugh this music player is the same.

Trying out Modaco's pre-rooted Froyo on my Nexus One, working just fine... freed up two icon spaces on my home screen now that there's a phone and browser button. Miniclip.com's Flash games are working just fine.
