If a pregnant woman asked for my seat, she can totally have it, but don't expect special treatment. We don't want to assume you want us to offer it to you, because we may be implying that you are weak. Perhaps if all women got together and decided on how to react to these situations, we'd all know your reactions. But as it stands now, you're all fucking crazy and no one wants to get into an argument on public transportation.

I've never met a single person who started arguing with me when I offer my seat on the basis that "I think they're weak". Have you actually gotten in to this situation, or is it just a stupid assumption that someone MIGHT?

I mean, seriously, I feel sorry for you if you go tip-toeing around because you're afraid someone might get in to an argument with you. If someone get in to an argument with you over something that silly, they're beyond retarded and deserve the punch you'll give them to show that they indeed are weak.

Since I began this thread I've been checking out public transport to see if the handicap seating signs also include pregnant women! And I'm travelling so I am seeing a lot of public transport.

Fair enough stupid women didnt even ask any of the people who where sitting to give up their seats but its the decent thing to do... She easily states that sure most might not have known because her bump wasnt 'visible' for many weeks but now that it has been and still no change? I dunno about you other "decent" human beings but its a pretty standard thing to do...

I don't think anyone is entitled to anything.

I would still give up my seat for her though, provided she wasn't a bitch to me. If she were to get on the bus, and I was about to get up to give her my seat, and she started talking about how chivalry is dead and no one is going to give her ass a seat, I would sit back down, get her attention, and tell her that I was actually going to give her my seat until she said that.

People need to learn that life is not something you alone are entitled to, and that if someone chooses to do something nice and charitable you should appreciate it.

If they choose not to, you need to get over it.
