He never used ragnarock+5/5 ares outside of campaign.

For events he used aegis/excali, homam hands/feet/legs and ares body w/ homam head (I think? may have been turban idr).

For merots, he used Excali/kracken with turban/homam (idr) ares 3 homam spamming kotr!

Still, however lol he was elsewhere, he still used 5/5 ares and ragna in campaign just for banter basically (or as much banter as a jp can give hilst lotting corrancy from his ls)

my first LS leader asked the PLDs to go /war for Defender and provoke on Ouryu...

I always came /RDM, my co-tank /WAR, the /WAR never tanked, didn't even own an Iron Ram lance or MDT build.. ._.;

Then after about two runs the other PLD invested in some MDT Gear and came RDM and everything went smoother =D.


Oh, and i died once while it was on the ground on the first run i came PLD/RDM, cause my "Co-tank" couldn't get hate off me for shit and had the nerve to say "Thats why you should come WAR" implying Defender would have saved my life. Not the Sleepers paying attention, or the WHM's using cure, or her actually doing her job once in a while instead of only after i died.

I remember, at least on Pandemonium, when Ouryu was pretty new/unkilled by most LSes, the idea of a unslowable wyrm made /war the default sub. Seems pretty silly now.

I would expect 75 DEF + 20 VIT to outdo -4% PDT or at the very least be comparable to it. On top of that, Koenig has +60HP which the Darksteel doesn't have which helps for maintaining CE while taking damage.

Why wouldn't you use M.body for rampart, if you need rampart for hate gain then you are doing it wrong tbh.

Hmm? It's 65 DEF and 20 VIT. 2VIT gives you 1DEF giving you a total of 75DEF from Koenig unless I've done something horribly wrong?

Darksteel Harness+1 has 40def, so 115 - 40 = 75.

For the people who still don't get it, koenig has 35 def more after counting the VIT. The VIT probably takes off 5 FSTR for mob, but unless you have no other PDT you're still usually better off with darksteel in most practical situations.

Eh, I can see why my post might make you think I got wooshed, but I'm aware that M-body doesn't have 115 def. Was trying to point out why lolwut said he did, and evidently I failed at that!
