I really needed a lvl sync... got desperate and invited a PUP. I heard PUP can be good w/sharpshot frame so decided to give it a go. She gets here and wows me with 46 raging fists :/, why are pups so bad? idk much about puppet but her's was just meleeing and then missing every RA it tried.

pup doesnt get good until the 60s when it can start using howling fist. daze is meh with about 400 dmg per ws. nothing good til pummel/armor piercer though.

Bellicose Mantle is the best a PUP can wear (Lv52). This can be rather difficult to get your hands on (I camped the AH for days trying to get one and even started killing the tree NM that's a placeholder for the 21hour NM that drops it out of desperation). The rest of the gear is pretty horrible, even by PUP standards (Crow? Seriously? AF body/feet where are you?).

As far as their auto missing a lot, they were either underskilled or an idiot and using Drum Magazine. Sharpshot doesn't shoot very fast and needs the melee rounds to build TP faster. Also, their ideal range for their ranged attacks is melee range anyway.

Also, PUP needs to know what they're doing, probably more so than any other DD and have spent quite a lot on attachments and use those attachments well.

PUP's way complicated. Reason #203910293 most PUPs are so fail.

Eh it was a lvl sync pt. He was like 76 PLD, probably was too lazy to swap in DD gear for that level.. I wasn't too pimped out either, I managed to have some stuff in MH but it was just to get 80 lol. That PUP was of level though, had unacceptable gear choices for a pt situation -.-
