They probably just merited Burst II just to have access and nothing else put into it, I guess. And T4 is fucking powerful.

@rog - These days, all nouns have the potential to be used as verbs and adjectives. Just like "fail" without that ever so helpful 'ed' at the end of it. heh

;\ I know ToM mobs are not hard, but is there a reason to gear yourself like this.. ever? oh well, afk while they kill the shit for me. grip is Platinum
I'd agree with you on this, but after playing WoW for a month, I can tell you right now that would be a very bad idea, and I hope to christ they don't implement something like that on XIV.
Yes its great if you're a seasoned player, but when you're required to have certain gear to do events where you could be getting this gear, its kinda retarded. Point being, WoW revolves on some shitty add-on called gear score. It no longer bothers me, but it was bum fuck retarded trying to do shit for gear back when I first got 80.
Then again, gimp player is gimp.
To be honest, you just have played at a bad time to play. Gearscore is fairly new and the WoW population is dumb enough to believe its worth using. Armory was a lovely tool for forming 5 mans before Gearscore/random dungeon came around.
All for being able to see other peoples gear before invite.
And let me guess, never once in FFXI did you join a party (exp, nyzul, everything else) and leave because people had shitty gear, right? Granted, the average idiot in WoW thinks that there's no way someone with worse gear can keep up with someone with better gear, which you definitely can if you're good and the player with better gear sucks, but suck it up and work your way up on gear.
It is "worth using". It's just used incorrectly a lot of the time. Good gear in no way implies a good player, as we're all aware of here. Sure, a lot of wow /shout idiots think it does, but a lot of idiots in FFXI think it does also, whereas here on BG most people realize that terrible players can easily get good gear. In the end though, unless you want to actually interview every person, given everything else being equal/unknown, you want the player with better gear.
Gearscore works like this - 'What's your GS?' .. '5500' .. 'You must have OK gear, better than player with 4500 GS. You can come'.
If they suck, you kick them. Same thing applies in FFXI... I wouldn't let Despain join my alt ICC 25 run back when I played WoW because his gear sucks and I want to breeze through it. Nothing personal, it's just how the game is played. If you look like you suck, you're probably going to fucking suck.

You'll have to forgive my gear and plugins, it's the best fire resist set I had for the Wyrm KS99.
Used to be a sponsor in my Dynamis LS. I pitty his relic GKT.
beside ammo it's good WS gear
People hate on Vawn way too much.
Move the fuck on. He has a relic, you don't. Go cry a river elsewhere.
ftfy
head and ammo could use an improvement, though

Law of averages.
I mean, I've had some good pickup Abysseas but the majority of them are like the one I was bitching about.
