    Abortions

So. How does a Tier 1 abortion work? I know its around 300-500 and its done via Dyson vacuum or some shit.

Anesthesia is needed, but does the girl come out in pain and feeling sick? How can you hide that if it happens. Also will I come out in pain and feeling sick? D:

    This thread is going places!

I'm going to assume the girl is going to be a bit messed up with her cycles for a bit after the procedure.

Planned Parenthood and abortion pill. Tell people you have the flu and plan on spending the weekend indoors while it passes.

As someone who in her younger years went through it (I was in a very abusive relationship, condom broke, morning-after pill failed, utter bastards always seem to have super sperm) - I'd not recommend that damned pill. I had that, and it a) didn't work properly so I had to have the surgical option anyway as not everything passed, b) was a pretty horrible experience in terms of pain, bleeding, unpleasantness (albeit I had to go into hospital to pass things so it might not have been as bad if I'd have been able to do it at home - on the ward I was on with women having the same pill option there was lots of screaming and moaning so I'm guessing the really painful aspect was fairly common).

As I say, not everything came out naturally following the pill option, so I had to essentially have both - the surgical option (apart from me bricking it as I'd never had to have an anasthetic befrore) was over with very very quickly - no pain or anything afterwards... just bleeding like a heavy period for a couple of weeks after. Takes a while for periods etc to come back to normal and I think they banned sex for a few weeks - but this was a long-ass time ago (talking pushing 10 years prob) so my memory is actually pretty hazy of the whole thing.

Surprisingly considering what I've posted on the pregnant woman thread - I'm incredibly not-screwed up about the fact I had an abortion - it was the right thing for me to do in the situation I was in (with a complete violent nutcase). Subsequently I've turned out to have problems with fertility and a miscarriage which is about the only thing that's even brought memories of it back - not everyone comes out grief-stricken, but there's obviously that possibility to be aware of.

Just be careful what she googles when looking at options - there are some pretty nasty sites out there pushing an agenda when you're absolutely at your lowest.

You may now resume making vaccum cleaner and coathanger jokes - because that was always where this thread was headed

Lol the abortion pill it's a forced misscardge and I think you can only use it if you 3 or 6 weeks from your missed cycle lol don't tell ppl you have the flu cuz you won't sound or look sick just can't really move

    To the OP:

I believe it's also known as 'Twilight procedure' (seriously). No sex for a full three weeks afterwards because some tearing my have taken place, bleeding isn't fun. So pretty much try not to get her aroused or have sexual relations with her until her follow up visit. Last I heard there was some pain, but you'll receive medicine for it, normally some low key pain killers.

    Spoiler: show
Procedure normally goes, they stick a tube up the vaginal canal, "scramble" the fetus and have it vacuumed out into a bucket which is later to be disposed of.

My little sis had the pill abortion last autumn and she had it once before too couple of years ago (no she's not the brightest crayon for not having learnt from the first time...). For her both times went as well as they could, she was sick as a dog in bed for the first day but only needed 3 days off work and then of course there's a couple of weeks period-like bleeding, I wouldn't know exactly how much. But yeah what someone else already said, you can only have the pill option if it's in the very first weeks. Neither time our mum didn't suspect a thing and my sis still lives at home. She just told mum she was badly hungover/overworked and staying in bed. Which second time around made it emotionally much worse since mum tried to cheer her up by going sitting in the room with my baby. >_>

I've read recently, interestingly enough that the whole "post-abortion stress disorder" thing is just another ploy by pro-life groups to guilt women into not having abortions. The syndrome never existed and when the APA investigated the issue they found that teenage girls who had had an abortion, in general, tended to be happier and better adjusted than girls who continued their pregnancy (big surprise) and even girls who had never been pregnant to have an abortion (this is a big surprise).

The rest, I feel for you and I hope everything works out eventually.

Contracting HIV is a product of stupidity, not your sexual orientation.

An intelligent heterosexual is just as likely to get HIV as an intelligent homosexual.
