If the love interest turns out to be human and not some alien Kirk style, I will be disappoint.
You know that his love interest is going to be Ashley. There is no way that they can harness the power of Commander Shepard: Galactic Manwhore in one movie. Well, unless they cast Gerrard Butler as the lead. That guy gets around a lot.
I would think Liara would be the default love interest honestly...then just mix paragon and renegade options to find a "cool" mix. I agree that I'd rather see this movie be about another event (first contact war) or different people than shepard.
just use FemShep and have Gina Carano be badass. Love interest can be Liara still, played by Malin Akerman. Have Olivia Munn be Tali to bump up the cred with the nerds. Wrex and Garrus can be cg, and their VAs can be the same from the games. I'd pick Amber Heard for Ashley, if only b/c she is hot. Kaiden can diaf.
Eww Olivia Munn.
If you want "nerd cred" but don't want someone horrible, just go with Felicia Day. Though I personally don't find her to be anything special myself.
Aishwarya Rai as Tali
They need to get the guys doing the Halo enter the dawn series, then I will get on board.
Chuck and Larry? WTF
Why not pick up someone who has done sci-fi before and not some shitty comedy. Gotta be trollin
Where's the Garrus love you motherfuckers? Calibrate that ass all night long.
Uhhh, not sure if you guys are aware but the VA for Tali, Liz Sroka, is pretty damn cute herself.
Release date announced, but not confirmedhttp://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hea...gendary-704142The studio will release the untitled film in November 2016, two weeks before Warner Bros. releases J.K. Rowling's "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them."
Universal Pictures has staked out Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, for a secret tentpole that is being co-financed with Legendary Pictures.
No details are being released on what is currently called "Untitled 2016 Event Project," but it is said to be a film that is new and not a sequel or remake, though it may be based on underlying intellectual property.
The film has the date to itself, though it will be followed two weeks later by J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which Warner Bros. will release on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2016.
Legendary, which signed a multiyear co-financing deal with Universal last year, already has two other films with the studio on the calendar: an untitled Michael Mann project on Jan. 16, 2015, and Warcraft on March 11, 2016.
http://www.vg247.com/2014/05/15/did-...-release-date/The Hollywood Reporter reports Universal today announced a “secret” film for release on November 4, 2016.
According to the report, the “Untitled 2016 Event Project” is new and not a sequel or remake, but “may be based on underlying intellectual property”.
It could be anything, obviously, but the project – whatever it is – is being co-financed by Legendary Pictures, which makes things more interesting. Legendary is behind the upcoming, Duncan Jones-directed Warcraft movie, and has the rights to Mass Effect.
The Mass Effect movie was first announced in May 2010 and was silent until Comic Con 2011, where we learned it would star BroShep.
That was all we knew until late 2012 when the script suddenly changed hands, and apart from a blip in March 2013, when Mass Effect creative Casey Hudson promised it would be “really special”, we haven’t heard a blessed thing.
Legendary co-founder and producer Thomas Tull recently told <redacted> Legendary is being very careful with the property, as it’s difficult to adapt well – so that may explain the radio silence.
