Sometimes you can find them with a small sample of their Shave gel (the regular formulation, not the aloe vera sensitive shave gel) which is pretty handy, I have about 3 or 4 I keep for when I travel.

Actually I'm pretty sure Bump Patrol makes a sensitive skin aftershave that doesn't contain alcohol, although I've never used it. I like using an alcohol based one since it kills bacteria so I'm not really sure how good it could be. You can probably buy it from their website or something.

    Don't forget to moisturize!

edit: yeah it looks like they make an extra strength too, although that's probably too harsh for me. Looks like they make a 4oz regular aftershave for only 1 dollar more than the 2oz, I think I'll just order online from now on. I am a big fan of their shave gel too:

    I love my gel moisturizer.

I need a good body one for times when I go tanning and some little cockbag doesn't tell me that the booth I use has all brand new lights in it and my ass comes out looking like Rudolph the Reindeer's fucking nose.

I use just dove facial moisturizer for my privates, but J.R. Watkins makes a hemp body lotion that isn't too bad, that's what I used post-tanning for a while... although i dont remember if it has SPF or not.

Try a high pressure bed. Less than 1% UVBurn. You can stay in there for 15 minutes with no color and get out without any redness or burning. They also don't interrupt your skin's natural 28 day exfoliation cycle. Normal tanning beds make your skin exfoliate every 7 days.

I embrace my skin cancer overlords. Haven't used a product with SPF in it for like a decade.

Not sure where I go has one. Don't have all the amenities that I'd be used to when living closer to Boston. Kinda in middle of nowhere suburbs at the moment.

Have you tried Trumper Coral Skin Food? Legendary for post-shave/ASB on sensitive skin. Kills the burn and moisturizes the hell out of your face. Also rose scented to match your shave cream!

Also another god-tier ASB is The Gentleman's Refinery After Shave Balm. Goes on great and soaks in without the tight fake or greasy feeling.

Downside are the prices, but you'll be hard pressed to use either bottle up in under a year.

That's the thing with the good stuff. You don't have to use all that much so even a small bottle lasts for ages.

Someone with spare money buy one of these and try it http://rotoshave.com/

I swear the TV special made it look amazing, but an impression from someone else would be helpful...

I've always wanted to get a professional straight-razor shave from a barber. The one barbershop in my city that used to do them stopped about 5 years ago after the old Italian immigrant who owned the shop got too shaky in the hands to do it properly. That barbershop was such a stereotype; he even did everything in cash, no bank accounts, just $10k+ in a few cigar boxes.

Apparently Revenue Canada cracked down on him a few years ago because they discovered he never paid any business taxes or GST in the 40 years he's been in business. I think they sent him a bill for like a hundred grand and he showed up 5 days later at the local tax office with the full amount in large bills. Or so the story goes.

Well in the special for the rotoshave of course they took it to a barber and had guy do one side of someone's face with a strait razor and the other side with the rotoshave and they were virtually the same!

I want real person testing though. I'm too cheap to buy one, though it is less expensive than the high end electric shavers.

Doubtful the shave was "virtually the same" as a straight. And buying this Rotoshave for $100 then spending $13 for a new blade every month makes whatever savings you would have over an electric be gone after one year at most.

For my straight/DE I can get a shave for 7-20 cents. This Rotoshave looks to be about 75-80 cents not including AA batteries. A Fusion costs $1.11-$1.59 per shave.

But then again with proper prep and shaving technique you can have a BBS shave from just about any razor blade.

How is it using a straight blade?

I never tried, and I've always been afraid I'd mess up and either take off an ear or slash my throat.

Once you get the method down, it really can't be beat.
