    Need a gaming mouse...

Basically I have decided on the Asus G73 from Bestbuy (I know it's the lower end one but it'll due) and I was wondering what mouse/mice do you guys use and do you like it? Trying to get some pros/cons for a mouse so I don't have to return one after another because I do not like the feel of it. Also I'm not playing WoW so I don't need a mouse with 70 buttons and macro capabilities, however that kind of thing would be nice for FFXIV... But yeah, if y'all don't mind posting some mice it would be greatly appreciated.

I actually have played with both the Mamba and the G500. The Logitech seemed too big for my hand and the Mamba played nicely on everything. I will NOT be paying $130 for a mouse tho, lol. Naga looks nice but holy shit wtf is that on the side of the damn thing? Is each button a separate macro or is it hit 1-2-3 and you do something? Cause it said program thousands of macros. I might have to check them out further when the time comes...

The G500 is absolutely amazing. If you want something a litttttle smaller, and liked how mamba felt, get the deathadder.

Really, there are only 4 gaming mice (that you are able to pick up from store and return/replace quickly).

    Mamba, Deathadder, G500, MX518

Yeah, if you find G5(00) to be too big, you'll have to check out Razer mouses, which ironically, I found too small for my hands.

G500 or G5 or MX518. Accept no substitutes. Razer mice are too light and too fragile.

I use the G5 currently, and before that, I used the original mx500 for 6 years or so.

Er, when was the last Razer you used?

They may be light, but they're hardly fragile, I've caused more observable wear and tear on my logitechs historically than the razer I take traveling ;/

I have a G5, still great, has held up really well over time as well. Worth every penny.

I never used the mouse when playing FFXI. And won't FFXIV have the same controls? What do you guys do with the mouse?

Though I will need one ready for many furious clicks at D3's release..

Love my Razer Mamba which I paid 80$ tax in where my friend works at using his employee code. I've dropped it countless times on hardwood floor and it still works like a charm. Awesome thing is that it's both wireless and wired, so you can choose which one better fits the situation, and as a wireless mouse it handles extremely well.

Hmmm... If I could get the Mamba for cheap I prob would... But yeah the Deathadder looks nice, too. Also I never used the mouse for FFXI either but for Starcraft 2, Diablo III, Fallout New Vegas, and maybe some occasional shooters I will be using the hell out of it. Speaking of, what's some more good games coming out this year? I gotta start saving some money...

I just bought a Razer DeathAdder recently and love it. Its a simple mouse with high DPI settings and 7 buttons. Also has a left-handed version. Also has 2 LEDs on the scrollwheel and where your palm rests, which I'm pretty sure increases sensitivity and polling rate. Can get off newegg for about $40, msrp about $60.

    Happen to run across this:

    http://www.buy.com/prod/razer-deatha...215974459.html

Has anyone ever bought anything off this website? And how reliable would you think a refurbished one is? I mean I always saw it as they fixed the part or it was just an item someone didn't like so they returned... Or am I wrong and refurbs are just pieces of shit?
