No clue about buy.com buy as with anything used you run a big risk. Most will offer you maybe a month to return it at most. After that you are out of luck. if you dont want to blow a ton of money the deathadder is a good one. Its not a lot of money and a new one means 99% of the time it will last years.

Willing to bet you can find one even cheaper but

    http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Deathadder-P...item5d2850ddc6

guy has sold like a million items it says and it is only 15 more then the used one. If you shop around you can find one around ~$40. no reason to buy used unless its a really great buy and you know you can trust em.

That's funny, that seller is the exact same website I just posted so it seems they are pretty reliable. $46 for a new one is nice, though. Very tempting to do it now but no new laptop and games to play with it!

Logitech CS is also wonderful, I sent them a mail saying I broke my MX510 and they sent me a G5 free of charge/no questions asked the next week via UPS.

It's slightly on topic too since I play (flash) games at work.

It's 80 bucks, which is a very good price for this mouse. And not as many macros as what? A G19? This is a mouse and that would make it completely compatible to use with a G19

To educate, you can use the Naga in three different ways now. Only the first two were available on launch.

    1) Set it to represent your number row via switch on the mouse OR
    2) Set it to represent your numpad via switch on the mouse OR
    3) Use their software to make each key be -anything you want- (just like a G-key on a G13/15/19 etc).

Man, it's a good thing FFXI/XIV aren't the only games on the market! If D3 is going to require an extensive macro set that is gonna go as far as an MMORPG might with Shift/Ctrl/Alt +# and a numpad set, the Naga and a solid Logitech "G" board is gonna fit the bill nicely for it.

Naga looks nice but holy shit wtf is that on the side of the damn thing? Is each button a separate macro or is it hit 1-2-3 and you do something? Cause it said program thousands of macros. I might have to check them out further when the time comes...
See above to answer your first question. The Naga looks quite "tall" for a mouse, but in fact it is not that much bigger and you quickly get used to it (took me maybe a week to get quick with it and I use it to hit multiple counter-attack macros in Aion which have ~3s window).

The mouse is by far the most capable thing on the market. It may look overkill, but it is just what a hardcore gamer wants/needs.

G5, been using one (the old grey/black/orange model) for like 5-6 years, had to take it apart a couple times to clean the scroll wheel, but it still works like new. Logitech makes solid-ass products.

Looks like the G500 is an upgraded version of the G5, so I'd recommend that.

Bumping this thread instead of making a new one. But my Razer Lachesis just died on me and I'm trying to decide on a new gaming mouse. I don't want to spend the money to get a Mamba and I don't need all the buttons on the Naga. Right now I have my eye on the Imperator. Has anyone had a chance to try it out?

    I'll ask here too..

The wheel on my mouse is broken, and it's beyond irritating. I need a new one, but it doesn't have to be a gaming mouse.

If it's wireless, cheap, and doesn't lag, that's enough. Anyone got suggestions?

I have never looked at/tried the Imperator out but I have tried the Mamba and it feels very solid and weighted very nicely. The Naga is very nice because you can program the buttons to do whatever you want. Copy, paste, cut, hit macros, etc etc. Even if you do not need all the buttons it is still the most capable mouse out there with the highest DPI right up there with the Mamba. DeathAdder is a decent mouse, too. Pretty much can't go wrong with any Razer mouse it seems.

Also, I suggest doing the which mouse is best for you program on the Razer site. Small hands, large hands, left or right handed, and more. But it really boils down to preference. I suggest hitting up a best buy that displays some of the nicer mice and playing with them yourself.

I got mine for $60, you lucky son of a. D: I love this thing, so many possibilities and things you can do with the macros. I just got my G73 so I gotta remake some macros but I didn't really have many set anyways.

I had to replace my DeathAdder... with another DeathAdder. Love it though, I've had one ever since release and it's just amazing.
