Need a gaming mouse...

The wheel on my mouse is broken, and it's beyond irritating. I need a new one, but it doesn't have to be a gaming mouse.

If it's wireless, cheap, and doesn't lag, that's enough. Anyone got suggestions?

Revolution MX, bit expensive, but a great wireless mouse.

Get the G73 else where and you get a targus backpack and a Republic of Gaming mouse, think its a logitech gaming mouse.

just curious, but you people actually use all 38 extra buttons you have? maybe i'm just not into that whole thing but i've always (always always) used a 20$ keyboard/mouse combo since i started playing SC/D2 back in the day, my friend has a g15 but i hate using that thing all those extra buttons that i don't use for anything and the keys feel weird

my new keyboard cost all of 10$ from wal-mart and it's probably my favorite so far, although i am getting a new mouse soon and i was going over this thread for obvious reasons...but like 9 extra buttons on a mouse? i dunno about that

I use my 12 pad on my Naga quite often. Swap weapons in games, copy/cut/paste macros, run around in FFXI. Pretty much can make the buttons do anything and it's pretty nice to have that if/when you need it. Besides that, it's by far the best feeling mouse I've ever laid my hands on.

Going to bump this, as well rahter than start a new one.

Looking for something that's not too pricey, as I tend not to usually use all the extra macro feature button-ey things. Had a wireless Logitech set that I picked up from PC World here for about £40, and it's starting to go funny. (My own fault but less said the better )

The wife swears by Her Steelseries jobby, but I've found it too sensative for what I'm used to. Plus I can't really find any of the Steelseries keyboards that I like enough to pay £60+ for along with the cost of the mouse. The Merc with it's extra bits on the right just seems to be stuff I won't ever use and will just get in the way of the under desk shelf I have the k/board & mouse on currently.

Been looking at the Razer Arctosa Gaming Keyboard & Razer Abyssus Mirror Gaming Mouse and was wondering if anyone has experience in these.

Read mixed reviews about razor stuff, so sort of on the efnce about whether to try them or drop extra on the Steelseries gear. Or would there be a comparable Logitech equipment I could look out for.

friend of mine has the keyboard, i've got to say i like it quite a bit. i always stick to the <20$ keyboards though, they're never really a big deal to me.

although i will say i just picked up a G500 today and it's pretty sweet, definitely the best mouse i've ever had and was totally worth the extra money, i especially like the fact that you can change the weights in it (i like real heavy mice for some reason). the buttons are all awesome too, as well as the really slick scroll wheel, it's just so fun for some reason.

The only problem I can see with the Arctosa, it that the UK one only comes as a black on black option, you can't get the silver on black for UK configured layouts, but you can for French, German & US.

Going to make seeing the letter etc a bit hard >.>

Wife found that Logitech are doing a trade-in offer for their old stuff for UK customers ( Logitech Trade in So probably gonig ot go for that - 20% buying from logitech.

Now to find something on there I'd like :D

keyboard looks cool but you could get a vastly superior g19 (or g15v1 on ebay) for that price

haven't used a razor mouse but they look way too angular and lightweight to be comfortable

that's the reason i don't like them, a couple friends have them and i think they're too small for my giant meaty hands and definitely too light, personal preferences though i suppose.
