No issues with it on the Evo, and the Dinc is a bit snappier then the Evo, so you shouldn't have any problems.

droid 2 is going to launch aug 23rd with froyo pre-installed, why they gave the X all the bells and whistles to launch with 2.1 is a mystery when droid2 is basically droid1 minus the dpad

Verizon seems to be kind of self defeating launching so many big and fancy phones all at once. I'm sure they'll be making an overall killing but individual sales for each phone is prolly gonna look pretty poor.

DO NOT BUY. It uses eFuse, which automatically and irreversibly bricks your phone if it doesn't met a series of checks. Only Motorola can fix it, and they will not at all. Any sort of modification, or even attempts to root will permanently destroy the phone D:

Quick EDIT: Looks like someone might have a potential hack for it, still be careful trying anything, because it can only be reversed by moto, and handset insurance doesn't cover it.

Got my X today, no complaints at all! It's almost too big, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Sense is a way sexier skin though than whatever Motorola wants to call X's skin.

It's not active. Current speculation is that it's active in the X, and it has the signed bootloader, which the droid doesn't. The milestone has had 7 months of continual attacks and they have yet to get a custom rom onto the phone.

I got the silicone case for my droid x today. Not too bad, droid x is great.

Swype is pretty badass, I can't stop using it. The silicone case will fit inside the Verizon Droid X Pouches. So if you need super protection that's always an option.

Ordering mine tomorrow, absolutely can't wait to get this. I've had BB Storm 1 for the past 2 years and i've gone through 3 BBs and about 5 cables. The current battery I have has swollen and stopped working 2 weeks ago so I'm phoneless until Aug 3. I can't wait for the sex.
