Sell extra weapons and gear. For monster drops you can usually sell everything after making sure none of them are required for quests in the area. Same thing for collectables, check quests, then make sure you put 1x in your collectables book first then you should be safe to sell the extras.

You don't really need to sell the monster drops or the collectibles tbh, just keep some of them for the Colony 6 quest.

bahhhhh, dolphin randomly crashes
which versions are you guys using? was using r7683 but might switch to 3.0 if thats the case
also, anyone know where the dolphin's save files are held at?
edit: 3.0 runs worse despite same settings, i don't wanna play on the wiiiiiiii

When i played the JP version ages ago I used 7390M I think? Not sure where I got it though as it was a modified rev. As for the saves I THINK those are in REV#\User\Wii\title\numbers folder\numbers folder\data. That is where I found mine anyway.

I'm using 7719 and it runs perfectly. Only problems I have with it are sound lag/skip every once in a while, but I can live with that.

I am loving this game though. I really hope it eventually comes out here, but if not, at least I still get to play it. =/

Anyone get the ultra small reactor? Been doing all the quests in colony 6.... says "Reconstruct Colony 6 to level 1 and collect an Ultra Small Reactor"

It seemed to me like you just purchase it from an NPC there. I leveled up to level 1, but i've yet to get it either.

Also where do u throw this guys hat off? I'm at the great makna falls... it said to cast it off where u have a panaramic view. so I went to that island out there but I don't see where I can cast it off.

NVM one of the few questions actual answered that I googled on this game.... had given up searching for quests as there is next to no info (and apparently no official strategy guide for this game?)

Is this the one about throwing something over the the edge into the waterfall? It's a Secret Location that you get to just over the first bridge. It leaves to a small ledge in the cliffs on the eastern side.

Also is there any rhyme or reason to why some quests are marked current and others are not? I've done part 1 of a 3-4 part quest and had it not be current, but other times I do 1 part of a quest and it becomes "current"

Usually it stays on New till you complete an objective, then it drops the new. Other than that, I don't know.

Talk to Juju in front of reconstruction headquarters. I leveled all of the options to level 1 and iirc was given the item.

Already sunk almost 50 hours into this game.... So much content, this is honestly the way FF13 should have been

All open world, gear you change actually changes how your character looks, NM's etc.

I am rather enjoying it, but as I get older, I feel a need for a good FAQ >.> Just a "Get this shit so you can craft X item" "Don't miss this subquest" "Get your affinity up to blah blah so you can..". Gamefaqs has nada

Its crazy there was not a actual guide sold for this game. (at least as far as I can tell.....) I thought pretty much every game had a strategy guide these days.

I stopped doing quests so that i wouldn't be ahead of the game, and now as I got into sword valley i'm finally starting to be underleveled again. all the mobs are like 3 levels above me, which isn't really a bad thing, because they are still easily beatable, but fuck, the named monsters are rough.
