We went to go see a movie after that, despite the pain. I got home and sat in a tub of hot water. I did not eat for 3 whole days.

I didn't eat beef for months. I worked myself back to being able to eat beef by going fish > chicken > pork > beef over the course of five months.

Damn, you did more damage to yourself than I did. I ate at Juan in a Million for the Don Juan taco challenge. They have breakfast tacos (eggs, potato, bacon, cheddar) that are a good 8 inches in diameter and basically piles of food.
