my friend and i both have accounts that are less than 20 days old, but we decided to do out 1st farming session for rings'n'things.

after capping our lights, we're kinda lucky. this was our 2nd of like.. 6 rings? i kept another one with -5 physical and -3 breath, but im gonna hold it and keep trying to get a similar ring to this. however, this pin took us like 1/4 to get. <_>; hopefully i can have some ohshit macros to rival my old account soon lol.

i probably shouldnt underestimate this. i heard these things can take days to get. but dammit i want a -6/-6 PDT/MDT ring

Hey Rich! You guys should really try Aeolian Edge or Cataclysm farming in there on a linking monster type of your choice (if there are any). It really speeds that kind of farming up, though it doesn't necessarily make you any more lucky. I knocked out 350 Lizards in about 3 hours tops of Aeolian Edging in there today and our best ring was something like 5 Phys/4 Mag, all the pins were trash. I'm rocking a 6Mag/5Phys and a 6 Phys/4 Mag right now~!

im on ninjer (lol) and he was on rdm. i should have mnk up soon enough, and ill cata burn. i have all the atmas needed for it anyway, except from ultima, but lolultima. and actually, there are a few good mobs for linking. efts are the 1st things that come to mind lol, but i dont know off the top of my head which the best targets would be, lol. also :hate: @ your dark rings! i want another decent one, so i can call it a day lol

lol, I got both on the same day. Took two groups to Konschtat to gold box farm a few hours apart. 7-8 hours playtime, 2 rings! Incredibly lucky.

Aeolian Edging with support would be pretty easy, especially on NIN I imagine. If there are a few linking monster populations and you don't care about xp and want to keep it all a little safer, you could potentially bounce between them to keep their levels low. If Efts link, Leeches might link too. So you could go from Conflux 2 to 6 and do a few pulls of each. I was Edging lizards because I need 700 for my OA2-4 dagger trial on DNC.

Hop to Lakshmi and I'll hook you up with Ultimate! I have a popset for Ultima from when people still did Limbus. PS. Bring Goldo with you.

PPS. Get yourself a NIN AF3 accessory off Gangly Gean while you're doing shit in Konschtat. On widescan (or POLutils) it's a group of Shadow lizards -> Ephemeral Limule -> Group of Treant saplings above Gangly Gean. I think number 1, 7, and 12 from the top of the group are the PHs. Only one will be up at a time, and only if Gangly Gean's window is open. Good luck!

Got same but instead of emn, had subtle blow +1, will keep trying for higher. Wiki says can go up to 12. :\
