I've been spamming the Dance Shoes quest "A Sterling Specimen" in Tahrongi Canyon for the last week or two. So far I've gotten 105 pairs of shoes, 8 with Waltz augments. One 4%, one 3%, Three 1%, Three 2%. There doesn't seem to be any dependence on Moon Phase that I can see, but I only have 105 pairs of shoes.

Edit: I did two reps of the quest immediately after posting this and got Waltz +4% shoes. Updated the numbers above to reflect that. I swear complaining increases luck.

And your +2 body! (also, it took me 3 days of straight cleaving to get my refresh hairpin, if it makes you feel any better). Not sure that I would want to idle in Owleyes as BLM.

Can anyone confirm that CHR caps at +10 on the subligar? When I looked at it the first time, it was listed at +18 (which I assumed was a typo). Someone has since edited it to be the more reasonable +10. I think the highest I saw was +6 between my husband and I (he went 1/32, so I didn't see that many subligars).

The highest CHR I saw in 100 some runs was +9.

Pick a job, look up the quest and buy all of the gear that Brygid can ask that job to equip. Talk to Brygid, zone, repeat.

This, pretty much... a LS mate of mine went through the gear list and counted how many pieces you'd have to hold for each job to get it done swiftly so if you have any of the jobs at the bottom of the list leveled to 72-ish (iirc the highest level to equip some of the quest armour is around there...) go as that. :
23 - RDM
21 - BLU
19 - BRD
17 - PLD
16 - THF/DRK/BST
15 - MNK/DNC
14 - WHM/RNG/SMN/COR
13 - WAR/DRG/PUP
12 - BLM
11 - SAM/SCH
10 - NIN

The seals and subligars are completely fecking random, went 1/180ish for my refresh pants and got them 1/8 for a mule...
