I'd image its a fairly safe assumption that any 90 job could acquire all +2 and other gear within 3 weeks, if you have any idea of what you are doing. If you honestly can say it would take you longer no matter if its with pugs or not, unless you play 2 hours a day then you are doing something wrong. Hey I could be wrong and KIs could take you 2 hours to farm, and NM could be impossible to proc.

Not sure who respnds to your shouts, but PUGs on Odin are filled with pink mnks, nins, thfs and an assortment of other jobs that belong in the Gimp thread. Expecting someone ("fairly safe assumption") to start Abyssea and level from 23 to 90, skill up (prior to the food info being released), acquire all the abyssites (at least 3 celerity, 3 furtherence, 6 merit), 9 KI/Boss kills, 6 caturaes, important atma, 42 AF seals, KI/timed NMs for boss pops, and kill those boss pops for 33 +2 items all with pick-up players?! Nevermind the 3 weeks. If you haven't killed yourself after the first 3 days, you're probably one of the VERY lucky ones.

Okay all with pugs may be a stretch but still possible especially if you use pugs mainly for seals. But even at that I don't believe getting 4-5 DD atmas, and +2 materials should consume you all day every day for three weeks, especially for MNK.

I can't think of one piece of gear besides Black Belt and Vereth that should take you three weeks to get.

I started around 5/16/11 with 75 jobs , 200k gil and no abyssea expansions. I was finished with abyssites/atmas/ 3 jobs with full +2 in about 6 weeks. I could have done it much faster if not for wasting stones on dumb shit. If I would have known how easy it was to cleave 120 mins in abyss-mis I could have knocked off over a week easily.

I did trio box some +1's and +2's thf/blm/whm and I always had a whm mule with me(also geared him otw with +2body/legs/ +1head and af3 acc.)

10% off the KSNM, 10% chance of an HQ off the NQ. 19% chance per 99 seals and you need 3 of them. I'd put it closer at ~1600 seals consumed on average per Black Belt, plus you burning all your friend cred to get people to help you with ~16 KSNMs, ~14~15 NQ fights, and ~1-2 HQs. Not to mention that most of the stuff from the KSNMs is NPCable bullshit these days, so there are almost no fringe benefits.

If it's 20% off the KSNM, then you're looking at 28% chance per 99 seals, which would be 1070 seals.

Eh, if you have friends it's possible to do it in 3 weeks. Doing anything with pick up groups is retarded.

Exp from 20ish to 90, full +2, capped h2h, atheling and other misc gear, getting all the good abyssites, boss kills, and caturae kills, can easily be done in a week, and that's being generous, it shouldn't take that long. Getting a weapon up to right before woe/empy might take a week depending how much time of each day you spend working on it. That leaves 1 week+ for a black belt, which honestly depends too much on luck right now. (7 wyrms, 1 nidhogg, no drops, last time I went ;( thank god I got my black belt ages ago). Could probably throw Vereth in easily in that 3 week period, if you're dedicated.

All of this stuff, except for Vereth and Black belt, is easy as SHIT to leech, and if you have friends working in anything abyssea related, it's a joke to complete.

you forgot that BB item isn't 100% off HQ anymore so prob more like 14% per 99 (speculation because i don't remember hearing any drop rate reports from HQ)

Wow, didn't realize they did that... lol, incredibly lame. Yeah, you're probably looking at between 1000 and 2000 seals per Black Belt on average, with half a dozen lame abjurations as your fringe benefits.

2 Nids, 1 KB, 1 Aspid, 3 items from that.

Yea it's not awesome, but a MNK shouldn't consider spending KS's on anything else.

Attack is low cause of my sub, and inventory is an issue so like allot of people I opt to save one inventory slow for a 6 attack earring that doubles in my MDT set. My MNK is just over of a month old, so I can attest to all that getting done in a month. Yes I have friends, and I did get lucky on BB items, but the majority of it was done on my own.
