Under the item's entry on FFXIAH, someone said the JP text translates to Cure cast. Of course, that isn't actual testing, but it leads me to believe it isn't just for Cura.

Main benefit of the augment is that you generally cure too fast to use a full FC set on cures, so being able to precast that piece is a huge benefit.
I tend to have oddly good luck in augmenting. I do like this for elemental or whm nuking
Wow I didnt know it could get Mag. Acc+5... and it's not on BG wiki. I would add it =P. Getting mab+4 and maacc+5 would be so sexy =O
m.acc 1~8 exists within the random pools for the sky/ein synergy augments. thats why its not posted on BG-Wiki
Courtesy of Letti, Odin's most pimped out Brd. Was kind enough to show me her full HQ set of Iaso gear bar the pants. All Augmented, here's the list. Some of this we knew:
Iaso Head: Cure Spellcast time -9%
Iaso Body: Macc +7
Iaso Hands: Haste +3
Iaso Boots: Cure Spellcast time -5%
I did not see them personally, but reliable secondhand report is that someone on my server had augmented Iaso Tights with Haste+4. Not sure if HQ or NQ synergy result, so it's either 3-4 or 4-5, and I added the info to BG Wiki.
Confirming what we already knew:

Adept rank. 67 Fire, 17 Water. Took 5 attempts with perfect alignment to get 1 HQ.
I was really hoping for a better HQ rate... this is really going to be expensive aiming for perfection on most gear.
Does it take one honor per augment attempt?

+2 DA is underwhelming for all the hassle you have to go through to even gat that shit done. (not saying the hands are bad, they are nice indeed) I would have expected higher values for the augments, considering its only one stat you get from it.
By the time SOA comes out, we'll probably look upon those Abj augments the same way some look back upon GOV augments: An expensive waste of time.
I think a better comparison would be the sky tatter augment system, which still has many top tier pieces after so long. Don't get me wrong, I fully expect most of this gear to get phased out fairly quick, but some of it should stay top tier(like armada hauberk/valk. brestplate) for some time.
If anything, I see them nerfing legion some more. And, obviously, in time they will add more recipes and make T1ing the hexed much easier.
hopefully they make legion easier, sucks that my useless hexed sune-ate -1s and hexed somens -1 just sit on my mule for a rainy day when someone will want them lol
Huginn Gambieras : Critical Hit Damage +9% if NQ
Tenryu Domaru +1 : DA+5%
Tenryu Sune-Ate +1 : Haste+3% or +4% if HQ
Spurrina Coif : Refresh+1 or +2 if HQ
Spurrina Slops : Enmity-5
Lol, Enmity-5... x.x
>:/ I've sold 3 Spurinna's Doublets and 3 Spurinna's Nails and we still have no data on them!
Kinda jealous of the Coif augment. It's the only one I haven't HQed and so far has the best augment. What the hell is up with the Slops augment, anyway? What a piece of crap!
Thanks for the info again, Tachi.
