Do people seriously equate "Voting with your wallet" with piracy? Because I don't think that's what the term means.

My illegal downloading of movies just became that much more justified. Ib4 if it wasn't for me the tickets wouldn't cost $20.
I use NetFlix then wait for the mailman down the street, mug them before they get to our box and steal the movie, then go back on NetFlix and mark it as not delivered.
Netflix is a godsend.
I've actually been pretty happy with the Instant Stream deal on it, we have it on each system and g/f's PC
Yeah AMC has AM deals and why i only hit up Tuesday or matinee before 12 times, still cheap and good price. I would never pay full price for me a movie is to much.
Only movie I've paid to see in 2010 is Iron Man 2. Only movies I will pay to see these days are Marvel ones.
If it wasn't for Netflix I'd be a child molester, no doubt about it, it's that great.
What i most like about Netflix is that i can keep a movie for a month and not see it and yet i don't feel like i'm the loser in this deal.
edit: even though i am
I kept Battle Royal from Netflix because it used to be impossible to find in stores and they got pissed at me and closed my account. Sad![]()
I redbox or rent from our Library (our Library is actually pretty awesome about getting a decent selection of new and old movies, and new and old TV show seasons ) at least 2-5 movies a week, and all of them so far let you skip those things. I mean, I do also download a decent amount of TV shows during the week, but I always thought that argument was stupid.
no dvddecrypter.exe on your computer? That's what I do with 50% of the stuff that lands in my mailbox.
I pay $10.25 CAD for movie, drink and popcorn.
If I ever go out to a movie theater, which I rarely do, what I am paying for is more than the movie itself. It's one of those things where you have to be in the mood to go out and socialize. That's the only reason for me to justify the expense. It's part of going out with some friends and having a good night. Movies are rarely worth their hype, but you can almost always have a fun evening.
The local drive in here is great. $15 per carload for a double feature. I usually borrow my parents van and just load it up with friends.
The local famous players also has a cheap Tuesdays which I like. $10 but you get a ticket and a coupon for a medium popcorn and pop. Unfortunately you can't skip out on the popcorn and pop and just get the cheap ticket.
Military Circle Mall in Norfolk, kinda trashy, but matinees are 4 dollars. I love it.
fuckin torrented Nightmare on elm street. about 2 weeks ago.
Last friday i get a letter in the mail. My gdamn isp sends me a nice little letter telling me iv been a bad boy. Fuckin jerks =\ Get flagged for such a shitty movie.
