I'm going with the more sensible "fool me once..." approach and am going to assume the movie is going to be shit until proven otherwise. Bay lost my trust a long time ago with many a terrible movie.

However, its not to say I won't check out the reviews and such here on BG when it comes out :D, he's just not getting my money until i'm sure its worth seeing. I may not like how he systematically broomrapes any and all nostalgia franchises for a cash in, but if its good its good.

What are you talking about? Earth got hit up like 3 or 4 times in Armageddon. The first impact literally happens in the first ten minutes of the movie lol.

I cheered when the entire team killed themselves off at the end in Deep Impact. I can't trust anyones opinion who thinks Elija Woods outrunning a 400mph tsunami with a scooter is acceptable in any format, that movie was a steaming pile of shit.
