Ok, this has developed over the last few days........ it has happened over 2 completely different connections and i'm at a loss.

Both connections (my house connection #1, girlfriends connection #2)

Connection #1 has a brand new Cisco wireless N router E2000 is the model, with 1.5 mbps cable internet.

Connection #2 has a brand new netgear wireless N router unknown model, with 10 mbps comcast internet.


On connection #1, I dc at random and lag alot it seems. Starting last week, I get r0 alot and sometimes come back......... sometimes DC. I changed to a new router, and still the problem continues.


On connection #2, I just flat out dc from the game. No time to r0, no lag it just disconnects from the game. I opened many ports what were recommended for ffxi, still no fix....... I still just dc randomly.


I'm at a loss here, I was really hoping opening the ports would fix the issue. Where should I be looking now....... my wireless card on the laptop? The routers still? Any help would be awesome.
