I'd stick with Faith if you have it. In the conditions of high haste that the Tiercel necklace would win, it would win by fractions of a percentage. Save the inventory space.

250/256= 24.4% Haste, so 6/256 would give .06% Haste

Im not 100% sure why it is, but 1% haste gear, counts as 1.07% haste, which is 11/256. If you have 5 1% pieces of haste gear, you will get 55/256 instead of 50/256 like 1 piece of 5% haste gear will give.

If you've got capped ACC use Conte. One less STR yea, but you'll get more mileage out of the attack+ than the 1 STR. 11 Attack vs 1 STR, I'd basically say it's a no brainer.

Joytoy Vs moogle Margian OAT sword?

It would be mainly for my rdm, factor in time vs reward.
I also have blu ( I never get to play it thou ). so im thinking moogle sword might be better.

joytoy wins last i heard. The new update is coming and will probably propel the sword over joytoy so i'd say get the magians sword. Plus blu benefits from it.

I can't seem to find an in-practice comparison for the life of me on this one, so I'll ask here.

Does the increase in TP per fist (just about 7 TP per fist with the Store TP gear that I have) make up for the OAT on only one fist on the HQ Wargs for PUP, or does the mantis still beat out the wargs in that sense, and how do Waghs fare up against both? I'm fully merited on H2H, so my base damage is a bit higher than those who aren't.

Basically:

DMG: 49 Delay: 500 OAT 40% on one fist (7.0 TP per fist)

vs

DMG: 52 Delay: 405 (5.5 TP per fist?)

vs

DMG: 50 Delay 410 Atk+14 Acc+5 (when < 100%TP or during WS) (5.6 TP per fist)
DMG: 45 Delay 410 (when above 100% TP)

if those are the last three STR you need to jump a WSC tier and give you a fSTR then use denali ( this scenario is unlikely), otherwise usukane.

Normally there is better str gear peices to use before swaping our usukane feet, if you are close to attack cap. The first thing you should do is swap out togi for osode then str rings, warwolf belt ( or black belt ) etc. 3 str on feet isnt a lot. ALso : the attack cap is 2x monster's DEF whatever their level ( below 600 for merit mobs).

that's what i thought, thanks. usu hands has let me swap out togi for osode when meleeing, i think usu feet are gonna let me swap out life belt for black belt. just a pain in the ass to have to write two separate sets of macros for salvage just so i have acc enough on armored chariot :3

So this post will most likely annoy people, because it annoyed me to no end... I have a friend who believes that Excalibur is trash and that PLD cannot maintain hate with it because the additional effect does not generate enmity. I explained how it changes PLD and makes them a DD (beyond Atonement). I explained about Stanislav and his parses on JoL, and how he managed to kill Fafnir in 20 minutes or so. I also explained how Excal PLD's rape Tiamat, but he refuses to look anything up, ask anyone intelligent or do any research of any kind; so here's my questions:

Is Excalibur trash and a waste? (I know it's situational yes)
Can someone post the parses from Stanislav's JoL parse in here for my friend's dumbass to see?
Does Excal change the way PLD plays the game?
Can PLD keep hate among other DD's even though Excal doesn't generate extra enmity?
And is a typical non DD PLD better than an Excal PLD on anything engage able?

(I already tried to explain all of this to him, but he wanted to see what you guys had to say; sorry that this has been gone over for a couple years now.)

I'd argue that upgrading Apocalypse brings more utility to the tanking table, but Excalibur is still a force to be reckoned with.

Someone else will have to provide parses, but its not that difficult to figure out the average output in any given situation.

And Excal-PLD is going to play exactly the same way a Joyeuse-PLD is going to- TP in whatever is going to make you hit faster and more often. Nothing else about your playstyle should really change.

Kind of a stupid question, really. PLD could hold hate decently before Atonement, couldn't it? Then why would that change with an Excalibur?

I have an Apoc and didn't want to hear his opinion on tanking compared to anything or in any given situation, as it would have most likely ended up in him telling me DRK can't tank as well as PLD, or something retarded.
