Homam Manopolas or Perle Moufles for DRK TP'ing?
Homam Manopolas or Perle Moufles for DRK TP'ing?
I'd say homam for the 1% extra haste and accuracy.
Searching this thread makes my head hurt. I don't want to see every single post that references the word "Perle" so I'll just re-ask.
For your run-of-the-mill 3x homam, nocturnus body, walahra turban dragoon is full perle worth using?
Net change:
acc+7 haste+1% triple attack+1% vs str+12 dex+4 attack+25 crit+2%
I've heard conflicting reports or something to the effect of "former wins only when haste is X%", so I'd like a broader opinion pool to make sure these people I'm asking aren't crazy. Also I didn't convert the extra STR/DEX from perle into atk/acc gdi
You want a general answer for a variable problem.
There is none. Shit is situational.
At high hast, the traditional set wins.
Lower haste (and when not having high attack buffs already) Perle wins.
Neither sets wins by much in both cases. Which is frustrating considering how much time/effort it takes to get the homam/Nocturus compared to the cheap ass Perle set.
Hell, even a mix and match set is pretty viable (turban/nocturus/homam hands/feet/perle legs).
Geting back into the game so asking what is better gear for blm than my old set up. What im not sure on is:
Back: Hect cape/Ixion (or other backs)
waist: new +8int belt or witch sash
ear: have modly and what? (no novio and not enough cash)
Thanks!
been scanning a few pages back about the keitonotachi stp gkt being on par/slightly better then a hagun.
question is, would it beat a hagun with dmg+1 aug?
also, would it be better to main hand an uzura with 44dmg and offhand senji? or vice-versa?
Aurore Beret vs. Hunter's Beret? assume no access to SCNM head
I'd use Aurore Beret. Wyvern Helm or Anwig Salade for weaponskills, of course.
What would be the best DNC DD sub?
/WAR or /SAM @80?
Pure damage: Warrior
Damage and support: Samurai
For the latter, I mean that you intend to actually throw out Waltzes from time to time.
Not that I think the decision warrants some big discussion, but I honestly don't see the point in /SAM unless, for some odd reason, you're using a DNC solely for debuffs on something they can't engage. With OAT and OA3 weapons easily available, there's already going to be a large amount of TP overflow.
Maybe you shouldn't play with such shitty dancers bro
Hexa Strike vs EP Mobs:
Maat's Cap or Selenian Cap with WS DMG/ACC Mods?
What ended up being the choice blm pants between Mahatma and Teal?
For Dancing Edge on DNC (Level 60):
Empress Hairpin (Dex+3) vs. Dancer's Tiara (CHR+4)
and
Leaping Boots (Dex+3) vs. Savage Gaiters (Str+3 CHR+2)
For Hexa, maat's will give you better damage and criticals, ASSUMING you can land all the hits. If it's weak stuff, which it likely will be since you're meleeing on WHM, your accuracy can naturally be capped. If it's at all evasive, 25 accuracy in a single slot (with 4str/7atk) is hard to out do since you could likely use dual aqua/flame rings and chiv chain etc and net more accuracy and better str/mnd/dex.
WS acc hats are good because it's an obscene amount of accuracy in a slot that most people don't have access to much better options (maat's cap being essentially the only competitior for WHM). If you need accuracy that should likely be one of the first spots to fill it. Virtuoso belt is probably the very first option.
As far as Dancing Edge, use emp pin over tiara and leaping boots over gaiters for the exact same reason. Accuracy first (and minimal WSC).
For capped acc, Haub+1 or Perle Hauberk?
