    Kohan:

Fire Taipan Fangs are the most flexible and a very solid improvement for not too much effort; with Pizza, the acc Fangs will have a tendancy to be overkill, especially if you get other acc+ items.

Sharpeye Mantle (Focus down macro) is quite good for its purpose.

Aurore Brais are good if you can make better use of the Tassets on another job or want to use them in a more niche purpose; otherwise are a fairly minimal upgrade (+1 acc).

Aurore Gloves are a slight bit of an upgrade.

Both Aurore items are cheap if you've got the cruor, so might as well grab if you do any Abyssea at all.

I'd also add the Thew Bomblet as a nice upgrade if you have an Abyssea group, as it's pretty easy to get.

I'm currently expecting the Brisk Mask and Ziel Charm to show up as drops in the higher tiers of WoE. Not sure yet on the effort that will be needed for them, but I currently place them in the "nice to have, but don't expect to see anytime soon" category.

I'd go for a PCC or, preferably, a Faith Torque for the neck as a reasonably good goal there, rather than Ziel (at least until info on how to get the Ziel Charm shows up).

For PUP at 80: Lunaris Claws, Level 75 OAT Magian (high damage/VNM path), STR/Attack Magian, or DEX/ACC Magian?

As now that I know what gear pieces you are nuking in, im also averaging around 7 or so damage difference between legs.

Either way, teal slops are a good investment for any blm for the time being..
Sorc Ring is feasible. I was going to buy a medallion but I'll wait to try and track down the new neck. Novio isn't happening anytime soon. WHM is my priority but BLM gets used a lot so I need to keep it decent. I've got decent merits with 5/5 INT and 8/8 Skill

If you are indeed using two mages, what would be the rule that you're using for the main? If you're hitting a movement speed macro on that I believe you can bind that command via the DBing plugin so that it would activate a macro on your mule (like a movement speed gear swap for both of them).

If you're using a melee on the first character you might be able to add a check for whether or not the main is engaged that will then send commands to the BLM on which idle set to use. I know you can mix windower macros with window plugins (ie gear swaps that activate/deactivate blinkmenot), but I'm unsure if spellcast has the same compatibility.

In either of those situations you can use your current movement speed gear and use the PDT/haste Tatsus.
Well, I dualbox melee or mage depending on situation. I want to idle in movement, it's just a question of whether idling in 4.125% movement or one/tick refresh is better. Seems the general consensus on tatsu was that you could still outrun anything, but no reason not to use gaiters or cuisses before. Now, if you use tatsu, you have the option of another click of refresh on gaiters jobs.

I understand that they haven't been found yet. I'm considering them for the future, not the present. I do fully understand that Byakko's Haidate are superior to what I presently have; I've been trying on-and-off to get them for longer than you'd care to know. It's been... frustrating.

I do plan on obtaining a Rajas, which I had, once upon a time. It's a long poor man's story that's entirely related to what jobs my Linkshell wanted me to use, but now that Snow Rings are dropping in price, I can change my CoP ring back to what it should be.

I have wanted to get an Astrolabe for some time. Maybe people will be less interested in it now due to other options.

As for the PCC, I'm hoping it will become even cheaper. I may wind up getting one of them after the Zeil Charm is found, if it reduces PCC's price further. I'm usually a "secondhand gear" type of person, as you can see.

I thought about Focus up/down after I laid down and went to sleep, and I regretted not specifying it originally, but I'm glad you picked up on it and mentioned it. Looking at the big picture, I agree that the DEX/ACC Fangs will be overkill, so I'll go for the aforementioned STR/ATK ones.

Bah. I really wasn't thinking, was I? I was considering the Brais to be a +2 ACC upgrade, completely forgetting about the DEX. Next time, I won't write this shit when I haven't slept. My gear is mundane enough; I don't have to embarrass myself by posting half-assedly, too.

Still, I could use Movement+ for my BLM, so I'll debate switching my Tassets out on my own time.

If I can get my hands on a Bomblet, I will. Currently, my Dynamis group plays around in Abyssea for EXP and Cruor, and I don't see why we couldn't kill the mandragora NM several times. I'm sure other people in the shell would like a shot at the Bomblet too.

This statement brings up a new question.

I have never pursued a Faith Torque, as I was under the impression that it was inferior to a PCC for a MNK with full H2H merits. Given the level cap rising (I am still 75, by the way, which goes to show how often I play; I think I'm going to let people use me as a Level Sync whore for a little while so I can complete my merits, though), should I be reconsidering a Faith Torque?

Faith Torque previously did not add to your base damage, but at 80 with H2H merits it does. Strongly recommend trying to get one.

I coincidentally have Faith pop items, as I wanted a pair of Baghnakhs, so I'll see if I can drag some people to Sea after Dynamis someday and kill it. Thanks.

    According to these GKTs:

Hagun (DMG 75 Delay 450 "TP Bonus")
    Masamune (DMG 97 Delay 437)
    Hiradennotachi (DMG 95 Delay 450)
    Radennotachi (DMG 79 Delay 450 DMG +12)
Keitonotachi (DMG 78 Delay 464 DMG +13 "Store TP" +5)

I assume Masamune is the best, of course, but 50 Carabosses's Gems may be very hard to obtain in short term. Hiradennotachi is slightly worse but still needs 30 Coin of Decay. Radennotachi with those augments is the one that can be obtainable solo/low man (for VNMs part) and it can sometime in the future be evolved to Masamune/Hira.

Question: is Keitonotachi better than Radennotachi? Keito may be very boring but very easy to get. I assume that, in case Keito is better than Radeno, would it be better than Masamune/Hira or not in a million years?

How do all of them compare to Hagun? I guess it's time to retire Hagun :S.

Now I may have the opportunity to provide a little payback to this thread.

To the best of my knowledge, the STP+5 Keitonotachi is superior to Hagun. As you've stated, Masamune is the best, followed by the OAT Kokushitsunotachi. However, when it comes to the Magian trials that are easier to complete, Keitonotachi is your choice.

    Teal Slops vs Morrigan Pants

I eyeballed nukes on skeles outside of dynamis xarc and noticed on a few mobs I was doing 9-11 dmg more with teal than with morri.

Can anyone give a concrete answer as to which performs better

My Thunder4 gear (with sorc ring latent up)

    Wep: Jupiters
    Sub: Wisegrip
Hat: Mooglehat (int4 magic acc2 magic attack buns+2)
    Body:NQ Weskit augmented with 5INT
    Back: IxionCape
    Waist: Witch Sash
    Legs: Morrigan's Slops
    Feet: Cobra Unit Crackows
    Hands: Morrigan's Cuffs
    Ring1: Sorcerer's Ring
    Ring2: Snow Ring
    Neck: Uggy Pendant(During Latent)
    Ear1: Novio Earring
    Ear2: Moldavite Earring
    Ammo: Phantom Tathlum

    Thanks in advance

I was wondering also what's better between:

    Radennotachi (DMG 79 Delay 450 DMG +12)

    and

Keitonotachi (DMG 78 Delay 464 DMG +13 "Store TP" +5)

Seems about the same? (if you don't need that extra STP anyway, 5-hit can be kinda hard to get!)

5 Hit with 464 isnt hard to get, especially with the added stp from weapon.

And Kohan: The current high base damage OAT beats Masamune...by alot. Unless Masamune gets some hidden buffs. We can just hope the Empyrean weapons are going to get big boosts in the future.

I detailed the DoT order for Great Katanas already in the random question thread, as well as a break down on WS damage/base damage DoT Q.Q.

Would need with Delay 464 something like full merits, GKT (5), rose strap (4), brutal (1), rajas (5), usu feet (7), ecphoria (1) and usu body (6), no? or something like that.
