What gear are you thinking of using to 5hit OATdmg+?

Even with usu feet and body, white tath, Unkai Nodowa, rajas, and brutal I come up short by quite a bit. Are you assuming sam roll or carbonara? .-.

80 jse neck, usu body, usu feet, brutal, white tath, rose grip, rajas, ecphoria ring or atilla earring. Alternatively you can swap in goading belt and and make a number of other swaps. Domaru or Askar body can obviously works as well.

Landebeve (DMG+3, Delay +12, Add eff: Weakens Def +15) or Stingray (DMG +15, STP +8 ). Just curious what some people think about this.

Including the base damage would help, but I'm pretty sure people have said Stingray repeatedly.

101 and 98, respectively. I'd go with Stingray; lets you use Pole Grip, easier to build, and Langbedeve has the nasty property of overwriting Angon with a weaker effect.

Need 64STP for 5 hit with OAT.. 25trait+10merit+6Carbonara.. That's 41.. Need 23STP in gear.. Without usu, you have to make some sacrifices.. Right now I can get 17STP without losing any haste.. Rose/WhiteTath/Brutal/AskarBody/Rajas.. To get to 5 Hit, I can drop dusk/askar gloves and add Hachiman hands.. but that's a 2-3% haste drop for 6>5 hit.. Only time I see that being better is solo situations where I have no magic haste support.. Although, I could be way off..

HQ Staff should be replaced with the final tier 4 Damage/1 Acc staves.

Penitent's Rope should be replaced with Cognition Belt
Yigit Crackows should be replaced with Augur's Gaiters

Semi relevant question for me as well since I'm gearing up my lolRdm now. Did anyone find out where Augur feet even come from? Don't remember reading about it in the abyssea threads.

Well, AF2 feet are pretty easy (Dynamis - Sandy). HQ the hat when you can. Other than that, looks good. Better than mine probably.

Thanks. One thing that bugs me though is a lot of this gear replaces pieces with +MND on them. This means I'll have to add more gear to my inventory in order to keep a full stoneskin build. I'm already sitting at 73 or 74 items on BLM =/ SE needs to add more inventory.

I guess I should put a disclaimer here. I'm in no way attempting to get any of that gear I named for my own BLM. Nuking 20 damage harder is cool, but in my opinion there's a huge disconnect at the moment between the effort required to obtain the gear pieces and the yielded improvement.

Also, I don't know where Augur's Gaiters come from. Have we found any other part of the set?

Ha, I actually have the AF2 feet in storage from them dropping to me one Dynamis run a long time ago, completely forgot about them lol.

And I think the only Augur piece I've seen found was legs from Glavoid, and that was a rumor from JP wiki.

Augur Legs are listed as dropping off the T3 VNM in Konschtat on Spira's maps. Augur Gloves are listed as dropping off Chloris.

Konschtat: Turul and Bloodeye Vileberry have entirely unknown drops. Tonberry Leige may have one unknown drop (suspected to be SMN AF3 I think). The T3 VNM likely has another drop.
La Theine: Ovni has entirely unknown drops. Other drops appear to have been hammered out.
Tahrongi: Antlion NM has entirely unknown drops. The T3 VNM likely has another drop.

We're missing (or I haven't noticed) at least Augur feet and Ocelot Trousers. There's obviously more missing than that if we're still looking for this many NMs.

So I have noticed a lot of people wearing Psilos Mantles in lieu of Forager's and Amemet +1s. Is the 1ACC from the mantle better than the 2/3STR/+3ATK that the other back pieces I mentioned? Or are these people just cheap?

One thing you should note about said stoneskin build is that you no longer need as much +MND if you cap enhancing skill for level 80.
