What's Better?

Several of the new magians swords should crush the previous available greatswords.

I would estimate it to be something like

Prestelame (OAT) > Ragnarok 2.0 > Caladbolg > Various other 80 trial GSes > Old Gses

ftfy. If Corsesca beats Gungnir, Prestelame beats Ragnarok even more.
STR GS is nice, but the amount of work/effort needed to get it is dumb, and, its delay isn't very good for an X-hit build.
I'd honestly go for the Store TP GS + sword strap (base damage doesn't affect Spinning Slash that much, and you shouldn't be using ground strike), unless you know some dudes who low man Krabkatoa

Hmm, OK.

I did some number crunching and it turns out the store TP on the Kalavejs actually allows a 6-Hit build with a fairly dedicated setup, which is absolutely huge for a DRK weapon of this delay. (Sword + Rose Strap + Brutal + Aurum OR Askar/White tath + Echporia + Rajas + that new Store TP/haste belt). It's not something I think I will ever achieve, but it's nice to shoot for.

I did 5/5 Quick Draw Recast and 5/5 QD Acc in group 1

Group 2 I went with 5/5 Snake Eye, 1/5 Loaded Deck and working on 4/5 Fold. Snake eye is entirely too useful not to cap. The rest of Group 1 is kinda meh as well.

I did the same, but I'd recommend doing 1 Snake Eye, 1 Fold, and 1 Loaded Deck before maxing out Snake Eye (and then finish Fold). Unless you do a lot of corsair soloing, group 1 merits can wait until after finishing group 2.

If you're sitting high in PDT stat, subligar is ROUGHLY equivalent to diechlings around 630 defense. Anything above that and Kaiser should lose to it. So yea, subligar wins when you already have high PDT and Defense stats.

What's the benefit of sword strap here? I thought higher delay was preferential for an easier x-hit build? Looking at it, with normal gear and /sam i can make an 8-hit with this, adding ecphoria+chiv makes a 7-hit. The extra 6 base dmg trump Nag?

PDT meant the actual stat, physical damage taken. In a situation where I expect to take just an assload of damage, I'll be eating Pescatora and have standard buffs and /nin sub. I'll check my defense number tomorrow when I'm buffed but I think under those circumstances I'm sitting in the high 500s, but I could be in the 600s I really don't recall. I currently have 21% in -pdt gear without Darksteel Subligar +1(24% with it). I'm missing a few things like a really good 2nd pdt ring, Vhelm, and some of those pdt goodies from Abyssea, also in a situation where I can shield block (ie:not terrored) I'll typically wear Gallant Feet +1 over Askar, so missing out on 2% there. I guess I need to get another 1% pdt from the magian sword and hope a mage doesn't swipe dark ring from me next Abyssea-Konschtat party again. >.>

Sword strap essentially makes it a 444 delay greatsword, which means you have a 7 hit build weaponskilling roughly 2% slower than naglering (I think that's what it worked out to be?), with 6 higher base damage and more melee hits per weaponskill. There's not really much competition. (Naglering's base damage has always been pretty bad for its delay.)

8 hit build with /SAM is garbage for any 444-ish greatsword.

Chiv can be swapped for PCC or something else if you weaponskill in more Store TP, if that tickles your fancy. (I use lolaskarbody and an augmented atilla's.)

I assume you need the r.acc. on Libeccio, but if you don't, Amemet +1.

Maybe Wilhelm/Altdorf's Earrings would be best? AGI+8, r.att.+1 r.acc.+1. As for the Hands slot, once again it depends on your accuracy. If you need more, W Hands. If not:

I'd go Heafoc > Skadi > Whands when accuracy is capped for both slug and detonator, then flop the order around depending on how much accuracy I'm needing at the time. But that's just me.

And MKP helmet, yeah.
