Pretty sure the only safe way to buy it online is steam, so you'd have to get the whole steam account, and I don't see that happening considering ppl have other games on it too lol.

MW2 retail keys can be integrated into Steam. Not all Steam games allow this though (like Bad Company 2). Any key from any source should work.
