I played baseball and soccer and ended up fucking around in the woods half the time, then got a playstation and never went outside again.

In my younger days, as I said in another thread, I was captain of both my HS and Undergrad Fencing teams, this is only sport I've ever competed in in any organized fashion.
That said, I've played several perfect games of croquet, and I'm not someone you want to money match in badminton.
Was on soccer/hockey team.
Played volleyball as well.
Had a paintball sponsorship.
Also badminton is the greatest thing ever.
played lacrosse and basketball in high school, went to college and got SO FAT
I played HS Basketball, Baseball, Football and was a sprinter for my track team. I was very good at all 4 but ended up going to the University of South Carolina on a full track scholarship, so that carried over to my post HS years as well. I still am an avid runner/weight lifter and I still plays lots of pick up basketball on the weekends and during my days off.
I was glad that I excelled in something other than football, seeing as how my dad played in the USFL for the Houston Gamblers and had stints in Canada and the NFL, he was never there during my youth and I resented him that and the pressure that came from coaches and other adults that held me to a different level because of what he did. But with that said I was a motherfucker boy, think Devin Thomas skill set with Freddy Mitchell hands, goddamn monster.
I dont have stats but I do still have all my tapes the coaches give you so that you can send to colleges lol. Breaking those out are lame and puts you on that Uncle Rico level of weak. But yes, I keep them in case I get the urge to throw footballs over those mountains over there.
Inb4 pwt real_nigga comparisons.
I was the gritty, smaller but naturally athletic kid who always felt like he had something to prove and consequently never backed down from anything for fear it'd be seen as an indication of weakness.
I played teeball/baseball til 10ish, basketball til 10-11ish, soccer til 13ish, wrestled til 15, stopped HS sports after wrestling, then in college started playing deck hockey.
I played youth soccer a lot as a kid, as well as basketball (up to jv in HS), and baseball every year on our schools youth teams(this is like elementary/middleschool) When I was younger I was very timid and never pushed myself in an aggressive point of view, so I never excelled in anything besides baseball (you're by yourself and aren't competing with kids directly so I did pretty well there.
Center fielder/shortstop and I have no stats but I was always cleanup. I played some hockey but due to my lack of aggressiveness sucked at that as well, even though I love the sport.
Now in college I'm cleaning up people on the ice and kinda wish I got into it more as a kid, damn late bloomer. ; ;
Got a lot of shit for being black and sucking at every sport that I attempted to play.. Severe shin splints really hampered any progress in track. God knows my kids are gonna be sported minded at an early age.
played hook on my high school rugby team for 5 years, also played basketball and soccer. Played league baseball on 2nd base for all of high school and before that
Also played lacrosse my freshmen year of HS...kinda forgot about that lol
I never did any sports like soccer or baseball or stuff, but I was heavy into karate. I got my black belt 2 months before my 16th birthday, and finally received my 3rd dan in December (I'm turning 24 in a week). I've been to Florida and Montana for seminars, and I plan on going back to Florida in August or September. Karate has been a huge part of my life and it's kept me in great shape. I hope to open up my own dojo one day so I can pass down knowledge and give kids confidence to be able to defend themselves.
Played baseball from kindergarten till 5th grade. Ended with a 700 batting average and tons of other good stuff. Played football 6th grade through 12th grade (11 man football 6th grade then 6 man all the way through 12th). Various honors there, most notable being my senior year: First team all district safety and utility back, first team all area safety, first team all region safety, second team all state safety, and first team all state academic safety. Ran track 7th-12th and last three years I went to regionals only to lose. Made it in the 200, 400m relay, and 800m relay. Did cross country my senior year, beat the guys that usually did it, and made it to regionals. Ran about an 18. Played golf my junior and senior year and missed regionals by two strokes at district the last year.
Now for the fun part: injuries. Various broken/messed up fingers (for which I never went to the doctor), right shoulder/collarbone always pops and gives me problems, chipped right shin, separated 3 ribs from my sternum (constantly pop out now still), some messed up ligaments in my right hand from my coach not paying attention (he was taping my pinkie and got to the end of the tape while watching the game and basically pulled it out until it was perpendicular with my hand), got a concussion and kept playing during my senior year of football (found out later that's extremely dangerous), tore my ACL and lateral meniscus in my left knee and had surgery to clean up the meniscus and replace my ACL with ligament on the front of my knee (I can't think of the name), permanent numbness on the middle to left side of that knee from that surgery, a meniscus messed up in my right knee that I never fixed, and my right ankle constantly pops and gives me problems. What did I ever get out of these sports? Nothing. I feel like an old man and I'm only 19...
Also note on the sports: All of these were in a 1A school in Texas so pretty much all my awards are moot.
Tae-Kwon-Do black belt at 10 years of age. Technically back then you had to be 15 to get one, but I was that good. At 15 years of age, went to South Korea with my mother to visit family and she shacked me up with some youth university program while we were there. There was a Tae-Kwon-Do session and the captain of the university team was so impressed, he wanted to spar me. /flex
During the provincial tournament, they placed me in the teens/young adults tourney and I came out with a bronze. When I was 10.
I was pretty impressive in track and field stuff as well. Placed 13th in my province for long jump. 16th for discus. Got 6th with my 5000m relay team.
When I got into high school though, turned into a cave dwelling gamer![]()
Played Lacrosse since I was 10 (still do), used to swim and dive in HS. Thats it
What position?
an all state swimmer (lol)
I played basketball all the way through high school, mainly as a point guard and shooting guard - I was more of a passer than I was a scorer, but I could hit my 3's at a pretty mean clip if people didn't respect me at the line, hitting 37% of my 3's in my senior year. I was also the go-to guy for getting fouled, hitting my free throws at an 84% rate.
I think my best game ever wasn't scoring a bunch, but passing for 18 assists with only one turnover, and that was due to a bad pass from me. I'm proud of that, I actually get off more getting other people the ball and letting them score. I think I only got 11 points in that game, lol.
I also played varsity tennis, ran track (400 and 4x400 relay), and swam. I tried playing football (40 yards in 4.7, fast, but not terribly so), but the game was WAY too physical for me (I was only 5'10, 140 back then).
