that Prince of Bel-Air scene... ugh. forgot all about that.

I'm gonna try and limit myself here, so first I'll mention that Futurama has an endless series of amazing scenes. I have never seen a show that had so much heart, despite the humour.
    - one of my favorites (can't find a clip) was Leela wondering about her parents, looking up as the camera pans up to the night sky, pondering which star they came from... then swift camera pan back down to the sewer, with a one-eyed mutant looking out from behind the grate. fucking brilliant, just absolutely perfectly done.
    - on the funny side of the spectrum, my favorite moment would be the water wheel robot panicking OH MY GOD I'M GOING TO DIE, running into the water, then walking back like nothing happened, followed a few minutes later by another OH GOD I'LL NEVER MAKE IT THIS TIME, then same thing. I laughed so hard I think it still hurt the next day, immediately rewound and rewatched it a few times.
    - and of course, the ending of the original run, when the entire audience ditches Fry's holophoner show only to have Leela remain and say "I want to see how it ends." cue Fry playing a very dorky-yet-sweet looking version of him and Leela walking off together. probably my favorite ending to a series, ever.

those aside, here are the three TV moments I could find on youtube, in order of awesomeness.

    3. favorite simpsons moment:

I just love how the joke keeps gaining steam for nearly a minute until you finally think it's over with the sears catalog, then at the last moment the final punchline hits home. extremely good example of good comedy writing.

    2. anyone who grew up in the early 90's HAS to remember this. so unintentionally hilarious. I still reference this with my friends once in a great while, at random.

    BEST SEGUE EVER? perhaps!

    1. best TV moment ever. more Futurama. getting teary-eyed now and I haven't even looked up the youtube clip yet. it's one of the most simple yet powerful TV moments I've ever seen.

When I saw you listing the moments from Futurama I was about to rage "How the hell could you leave out Jurassic Bark!?!" Then I scrolled down.

My second favorite moment from the series was from "Luck of the Fryish" The ending when he finds out the astronaut was his nephew named after him.

ugh that just makes it even sadder. I knew of Hachiko statues (there's one in TWEWY) but had no idea of the story behind them.

    :'(

Some of the quotes during this movie just makes me think.

    Spoiler: show
You know we just don't recognize the most significant moments of our lives while they're happening. Back then I thought, well, there'll be other days. I didn't realize that that was the only day.

    Spoiler: show
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good and that could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

I've NEVER watched that movie, although I've really wanted to. My hatred for Baseball has really kept me away, though I now there is more to it then baseball.

Remember The Titans on the other hand. That changed me during High School. I was defensive end, the the defensive end across from me was one of my best childhood friends. We quoted that movie all the time in practice. After he died, I watched that movie over and over.

oh god, I don't think any of my friends would get saved by the bell references, except doing the a/c slater in a chair. haha and that scene of 24 is probably one of the best of the show, Jack in a full body armor suit, Logan's screams of terror THAT'S BAUER! From this season, I still love the scene where Renee killed the Russian, stabs Jack in the leg on accident where Jack proceeds to pull that knife out of his leg and throw it across the room into a badguy's neck. Then he shoots a few bad guys, one through a wall, no problem.
