I never mentioned King gear. I'm more interested in learning BLU spells without having to rely on dumb luck in finding the mob or claim it.
If they wanna add spells from things like Fafnir they better add more options and not stick with Nyzul/DA/KSNM or wyrms with 3 days repops/Ouryu.
Right know you can get 18 Blue Mages and just kill whatever you want... can't really do that with HNMs that people actually camp or randomly pop in a dungeon BLU hardly gets to access.
I can already see people selling the chance to learn a spell to BLU, especially if it's a good one, if things don't change.

LSes will DEFINITELY sell to BLU the chances to learn BLU magic, but that shouldn't be the problem at all, given the fact that anyone can build a 6 man team and take to Nyzul. Even moreso join an Einherjar and/or Limbus LS. KS99. Salvage for Adaman. Besieged and FL Assault for others. Hydra is always up, lol. ZNM T3s.

Keep in mind alot of this crap will be that much easier with +5~7 levels with merits.

Edit: I see what you mean about the luck factor, but what hasn't been based on luck since you started playing in the first place?

If spells were added off HNM mobs, Abyssea would have to have weak equivalents somewhere in the open where you could learn.

MMM would be an alternate because precedent says that every BLU spell in the game has an open area to obtain a spell and then closed alternate areas. We saw a reskinned behemoth in a redone La Thiene so the possibility of free-roaming "HNM" are possible though I guess if you do not purchase Abyssea that you could likely get the same spell through MMM.

I wouldn't count on Besieged considering you need to get the kill shot and gl with that.
Going to Nyzul is just adding an extra luck factor: on top of "will I learn this spell?" you'd also have "will xxx pop or not?".
All those events are alternatives sure but nothing you can spam at will. MMM on the other hand would be much better (or Abyssea.. but we don't know much about that).

We don't know if the reskinned Behemoth from the Abyssea page means there will be regular behemoth mobs walking around. If you recall, one of the earliest promotional images for WotG featured Sandworm.
