GFX card advice.

Gonna be getting WoW next week, but thinking to upgrade my PC first, my cheap prebuilt piece of shit is, well....shit.

At the moment, I've got nVidia 7050 / nForce 610i.

Through my super effective slueth powers(opening the case), found out I can use a PCIex16 card. (Whatever that is, I'm not sure, but hey, I can use it!)

Looking at some cards online, I found;

Nice and cheap, I can't really afford to spend £70ish on a card.

Just really, you think that card will be able to hold a decent FPS in packed areas? Playing on low settings is ok, flat grass instead of lumpy grass isn't that big of a deal to me. Would hate to be in town, at a vendor/AH etc, and have 2 fps.

Well, if that's all you want then that's all you will get with that card. It's not gonna handle FPS very well in a high-traffic area tho I can guarantee that much.

You'll be in a MUCH better position if you save up a little bit and get a GT240 or GTS250.

Damn, was hoping I wouldn't have to.

Oh well, looks like it'll be a couple more weeks before I get a new card then. Shouldn't need it right away anyway, taking it slow in game, be a while before I need a good FPS with lots going on onscreen.
