We’ve been able to confirm with multiple sources that all of the AT&T pre-order iPhones have been spoken for. Anyone who placed an order after 1:30pm Pacific can expect to get their iPhone 4 between June 25th and July 5th.

UPDATE: Engadget got a quote from AT&T confirming our Whisper:

“Because of the incredible interest in iPhone 4, today was the busiest online sales day in AT&T history. As of Tuesday afternoon, customers who preorder iPhone 4 moving forward will receive their device on June 25 or later, depending on when the order is placed. We’ll email customers with confirmation once their order is placed, and again when it ships. In addition, we will have devices available on a first-come, first-serve basis in our stores beginning on June 24.”

Glad I stuck with it at 3am this morning and got the order through on apple's website. Mine still says that it'll be delivered on the 24th. When the site went to shit, I opened up IE on a whim and it actually worked better than FF. Also, I got my confirmation e-mail as well.

I'm glad they didn't have white, because when I told people at work that I wanted a white one, they all told me that I'd look like an effeminate douche bag.

Pretty much the same. I got mine ordered through apple.com though this afternoon, 6PM EST ish, and mine still says in my email "delivery june 24th" so I'm happy. Also originally wanted white until my female partner at work today said it was feminine and white is for girls, which my sister agreed with. So yeah, black.
