I've only been able to successfully replicate the bug while covering the buttons on the left side with my thumb (I hold my phone in my left hand). When I hold it without doing that I haven't had a problem dropping bars.

i've never had good experiences with those.. you should just get the new one from zagg. those are so worth it, brofus.

It's just a screen protector, not a full body shield.

And zagg is overpriced. It's like the monster cable of it's brand. bestskinsever.com is the way to go. They got theirs on sale too.

If the Antenna thing isn't fixed and the 7-14 day jailbreak issues turn out to be true, I'm going to be immensely depressed.

Also, I think I have a yellow dot on the screen. I would have never noticed it if it wasn't pointed out by my wife after I told her to look at it because I seen nothing. Even then I had to stare at the phone blankly for 10 minutes before I seen it. TBH, it may just look like it's there because we're trying to see some yellow.

The only reports of scratches I have seen....... were on the back of the phone from tech websites after a week of use. As the back glass is not the same as the front glass

Somewhat good news. All phones (3G, 3GS, etc) are having the dropping signal issue when running ios4. Doesn't seem to be a design/hardware flaw with the iPhone 4, just a software flaw.

I lost all edge/3g service whenever i upgrade to OS4.. factory reset it and reinstalled multiple times and still cant get it back. Go back down to an earlier version of OS 3.1.3 and its fine

It was happening to alot of people who were upgrading from a jailbreak, or were restoring from a backup that was from a jailbroken OS.


So for me, I had a spirit jailbreak on a 3gs. Made a backup of my phone, upgraded to OS4 and data wouldn't work.

I hit "restore" instead of upgrade, phone restored os4 onto my phone and everything worked fine. Selected the backup, and installed it onto my phone..... lost all my data connection.

So if your trying to use a backup, you might be SOL on iOS4

I always back them up via Google Account/Google Contacts, since the iphone has the option to sync to it.

In the end, all I did was lose my text messages. heh
